Knotts View Cottage is designed to be accessible for wheelchairs and able bodied people alike. It is a ground floor cottage which has an extra large bedroom containing one double bed and one single bed. The cottage has ample parking to the front with a concrete level parking area to ease wheel chair use on arrival.The cottage has gas central heating, instant hot water and double-glazed windows. Great care has been taken to retain the charm and character of the original building keeping the original beams exposed to create a lovely cottage with a rustic feel.It has a large lounge / diner with fully integrated kitchen featuring a gas hob and electric fan assisted Stoves oven. It also has an integrated washer/dryer. The lounge area has a two-seater leather sofa and also a Winsford style chair for anyone requiring more support. Remote control TV, DVD and Freeview is also installed.The bathroom is of a 'wetroom' style. It features a shower which is ideal for wheelchair users to wheel directly into and is also equally suitable for the able bodied. There are plenty of hand rails and special features to match varying degrees of disability (as can be seen in the photographs below).Knotts View Cottage has been awarded a 'Mobility Level Two' score by the National Accessible Scheme and a Four Star accommodation rating.
