This lovely Civil War home has been recreated reminiscent of days gone by. Dining room, game room, parlor and ballroom all decorated in the elegance of a Civil War home. Just lovely!

We enjoy a stay that is unique and has character vs a chain hotel. We chose the Hollinger House because it was a close to the wedding venue we attended. The room was large, immaculate, and thoughtfully appointed while still retaining its historic charm. Kenneth, the Innkeeper, was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I wish we had more time on our stay to enjoy the common and outdoor areas, but we did enjoy a delicious breakfast. The Inn itself is very quiet and relaxing, though the nearby highway can be heard from outside. I would definitely stay here again for a more rural visit to Lancaster!

The property and accommodations were beautiful. The house is one of a kind, each room is uniquely designed and decorated, allowing guests to enjoy their stay in Lancaster. Kenneth is a wonderful host and the location is convenient to the many restaurants in downtown Lancaster.

The Hollinger house is just beautiful. The owner, Kenneth, gave us a tour of this lovely home upon our arrival. The pictures on-line do not do this house justice. Kenneth also told us of the home's history witch was extremely informative, and made us appreciate our stay even more. Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was included with our stay, and I must say that Kenneth is a very good cook as well as host. Upon our arrival, he asked us if we had any special dietary requirements that he needed to address, which I felt was very considerate. We had the pleasure of meeting several of the other fourteen guests while there, and it was so nice getting to know them. Unfortunately, we only spent one night at the Hollinger House, and I must say that one night is not long enough. there is so much to do, and we can't wait to take advantage of that. Kenneth, we look forward to coming back next year for at least two nights, to see you and spend more time in your beautiful home. Thank-you for everything.
