「We never wanted to leave!!!! I absolutely fell in love with this home. For my 30th birthday I searched endlessly for a place that would offer my husband and I some guaranteed solace. 「Overall, an outstanding stay! My GF and I had a wonderful time in this cozy little retreat! We chose a new moon stay which meant magnificent views of the stars and Milky Way from the hot tub! 「We had such a wonderful and peaceful stay at The Creosote Cottage. The location is removed from the hustle bustle of actual Joshua Tree, which we loved. 「Property Host was very straight forward! Really the only thing I think could have been smoother was check-in process. At the time of this review, I was given a link, and assumed that link would have my direct (personal) code to enter the home right away or revealed in some way. 「My wife and I came here with our 11 month old son and dog, looking for a remote place to get away. This place was that and then some. The host group is extremely helpful and responsive, and the property itself is amazing. The pool/hot tub is amazing, and the technology in the house (speaker system specifically) puts a nice touch on this secluded getaway.Would absolutely stay here again!」

「Driving up the drive our first impression was arriving at a small mission. Once inside, the rooms were large and well appointed. Lots of lighting and outlets and several places to sit both inside and out. The kitchen was very well stocked. Everything was functional. The hot tub was such a bonus.」

「Complimentary toiletries was a used bottle of shampoo and conditioner. No body wash. Hand soap was only in one bathroom, no blankets downstairs to make it more comfortable to watch t.v. ants in the downstairs bathroom. Everything else was fine.」

"When I checked in, the hotel staff didn't ask where I booking my room. They just took my ID card to check and told me that they didn't have my room. I told them that I had booked it on Expedia. and try to give them my order number, but they didn’t take look, just told me wait ，and she will try one more time, she said 4-5 times to me in this 15-20mins she didn't find my room, … after that the room I found there was no toothbrush and slippers. but the first floor there are has sold toothbrushes for sale for $3 … I think it was drama , and I relook the hotel the parking fees was $20 and breakfast was $10, these not showing on the first-page when I’m booking. so everything was terrible ."
