Das Außentor der Burg Nanstein in Rheinland Pfalz. Es befindet sich zu Füßen des Kleinen Rondells am südlichen Ende der Burg. Der Torbau ist 4 Meter stark und wurde im oberen Bereich teilweise rekonstruiert. Die beiden Brillenscharten sind original: Sie dienten dem Einsatz von Handfeuerwaffen. Der Torbau entstand im späten 16. Jahrhundert.

"A friendly, personal welcome awaited us upon key handover. The house is older, but extensively renovated and very modern. A wooden staircase leads up to the apartment. It's a beautiful apartment on the upper floor with a fantastic view. Everything you need is in the kitchen. A TV and Wi-Fi are available, of course. It was clean and pleasant. The town of Pirmasens isn't particularly beautiful, but the surrounding forest is even more so!"

"Die Ferienwohnung sieht genauso schön aus wie auf den Bildern, es handelt sich allerdings um eine Souterrainwohnung. Das Willkommensgeschenk war nicht da. Die Playstation 5 hat nicht funktioniert und Netflix funktionierte am letzen Abend ab 23:50 Uhr nicht mehr. Da wir aber zum Wandern dort waren, hat uns das nicht sonderlich gestört. "I stayed with my husband. It’s close to the Ramstein AFB. Room, kitchen and bathroom were very clean. The towels were clean. The location is in a residential neighborhood making it a safe place to be. We had booked somewhere else before this and we wish we found this place sooner! Just follow instructions to get in and out and you should be fine. No elevator which is mentioned but otherwise don’t think twice. Great stay and I’ll book again without hesitation. They have a microwave and spacious refrigerator for long stays. "

"We were only there for one night but everything was excellent. The restaurant was very good and the little bar area was tiny but perfect for us. The beds we exceptionally comfortable and the parking was right outside and very convenient for getting our bags in. We enjoyed the experience and recommend this place to anyone."

"It was a pretty rough check in as there is no staff available at night. The Check ‘n charged me for nine vehicles when I only had one and the after hours phone number was disconnected. However, in the morning, the staff fixed it and the staff for the rest of the days were just amazing. I greatly appreciate every single one of them. It made my stay nice there. Thank you."
