"Large and comfortable room with a river view and surrounded by several well kept acres of lawn and garden. Walking distance to the well equipped small town. A very welcoming and knowledgeable host. Met other guests in the breakfast room. Just a fine place to stay in a great little town."

"Location at the heart of everything happening in town yet at the end of the street so very quiet too. The staff was excellent and so very personable. We especially enjoyed meeting and visiting with employees Heather and Bobby. They are super people and have excellent customer service skills. A real asset to Stone Mills business."

My room was spacious and, as were the common areas, it was full of interesting objects and was decorated consistent with the place and its history. The nature is beautiful in the driftless region of MN where the hotel is located."
