"The view is amazing. Each day we saw seals swim by. There is a resident eagle who would sit out on the sand right outside the window. Our grandson watched him dive and get a fish. What a thrill. We found sea glass and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. Maria our host was attentive and very helpful. Definitely met all expectations."

"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. Thanks for sharing your cabin!"

"Special and rare because it has everything we were looking for in a great setting. Excellent craftsmanship in the construction and perfect attention to detail. No need to look for instructions on where things are or how to operate anything and meticulous attention to cleanliness and maintenance. No noise or distractions, couldn't think of anything lacking."

"We haf a very wonderful and relaxing stay. The only upgrade i can mention. Is the bed is dated and should be upgraded to a pillowtop with no springs. It was uncomfortable and felt old and used. Other than that this is an amazing place and we look forward to seeing it again."

"There was Zero help from anyone.The toilet broke on our first day(monday)still wasn't working on Wednesday.We called in to the managers.Nothing but promises.SO we had to run into town whenever we had to go.(or out in the woods).The water system is not legal. I wouldn't even take a shower in it.The ice trays were froxen brown ice.The owners comments say "If you don't like it go into town and buy water.It's Mid May and the lawns have yet to be mowed.There is NO access to the beach because the...

"This property was like something out of a fairytale book. The property is so serene and peaceful. Id love to come back in thr spring or summer where we could have more daylight hours to enjoy the beauty of it all."

"Large house with beautiful views and a cozy setup. The master bedroom upstairs was like a retreat with is soaking tub. House was well appointed and clean. Enough space for 4 adults to have privacy."

"Great, cute place with great views! Love the live tree in the middle and the lights with grapes over the front porch. If ever visit PNW again, would stay there, hopefully by then would be a door on primary bedroom en suite. (my only other complaint would be that would have been nice to have a hair dryer to use while there.)"

"Our stay was amazingly peaceful and for our family to join at a mutual location it was ideal - beautiful walks on the beach and the overall charm of the place made for a perfect Christmas--very spacious, beds perfect and the home had all the cooking utensils, gadgets, platters etc to accommodate our meals. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will for sure return for another visit!"

"Relaxing"

"If you're looking for the perfect place to relax and get some perspective on life, this is it. If you're fussy about every little detail, maybe this isn't. The awesome view, the privacy, the sauna, comfortable beds, great wood burning fireplace, all the important things are here. It's very rural, so as you might expect, the decks were covered in leaves, pine cones, broken branches, plus quite a few cobwebs throughout the house, things we read other renters complain about but don't bother us....

"This was our second time staying at this property and we liked it as much the second time as the first! Our dog loves the fenced in yard (though she was able to get in under the deck, so if that could be closed off that would fantastic.) Plenty of space for a family of four. Great location and we love walking around the neighborhood and enjoying the view from the deck. Highly recommend!"

"We loved our stay on this property it was clean well cared for and the view is amazing. I have stayed many places on Whidbey and this by far had the most wonderful view of both sunrise and sunset. The wildlife amazing. The quite amazing. Beds are the foam type, water pressure excellent and a full kitchen."
