There is plenty to see and do in the area too with walks and botanical gardens close by and not to far away from supermarkets and shops if needed. "Had a wonderful stay here with family, ages ranging from 20 to 80 years old. The place was warm, comfortable and had everything (& more) than we needed. Got a warm welcome from Graham on arrival, showed us how everything worked then left us alone to get settled in. TV’s all worked fine and we had no problem at all with WiFi or phone signal. Lovely walks about the grounds seeing the animals and the car museum was very interesting. We’ll definitely be back"

"The cottage itself was lovely. A really nice chilled week, however the property just required a bit of TLC, it is just looking a bit tired and rough in some areas and the cleanliness was average to say the least. Some plates had been put away dirty and there was cobwebs in several of the rooms. The location was pretty good and it was only 30 minutes in to Glasgow and Ayr is nearby. Overall I would give a 7/10."

"No check-in details given, had to contact Hoseasons twice on the afternoon of arrival to get details, to say the cabin is quieky is an understatement, if you like dark & dinghy then thats ok, the kitchen is basic and smells of old fat, beds & mattress have seen better days, if you don't mind paying over the odds to sleep in a damp portacabin look no further, if we could off afford it, we would not of stayed, but as this was not a holiday we didn't have much say,but did cut our stay short."
