“After 3 years of renovations the formerly known Belive Hamaca hotel is now reopened and rebranded. They did a great job with updating and refurbishing this run down hotel. Overall a 7/10 rating. I stayed in room 008, with 1 major problem: the toilet on the floor above me was leaking non stop with a constant non stop drip with smelly water. I told the reception about it, many promises, but the problem was never fixed, nor was I given an alternative room. Nor was my room cleaned during my 2 night……

“Fausto is an amazing host- prompt, attentive. Bed is very comfortable and accommodations were perfect. Got us to the airport in good time and found us a local place to eat.”

“Hotel nothing like advertised . .no castle front just boring glass. No shop, no information board, staff no knowledge of local area, pushed their own taxi at10 dollars (approx 530 peso) to cathedral, uber was 97 peso. Restaurant staff reluctant to refill breakfast favourites, other meals pleasant but overpriced. There is nothing in this area for holiday makers, an hour walk to the colonial area, local beach and surrounds filthy.”

“The rooms and the property are really pretty mediocre. Marriott and Aloft are connected, rooms must be pretty similar. Staff are friendly. Place seems more suited as a local convention center. Restaurants with 0 ambience. Bizarre, sterile rooms without any decoration. Feels like it was built in a hurry in 2 weeks by a Punta Cana construction company. Building is too high for this country; not sure if I would want to be inside if there were an earthquake.... I have also stayed in Courtyard Naco……

“Hotel installation were great. Location is beyond perfect near to the must spectacular restaurant but besides doing check in on time room wasn’t ready and got to wait over an hour after a long day road trip. Hope they get more accurate about check in and providing guess room access. ”

“Kitchen has gas stove which is better than electric; No microwave though. Overall room is pretty good with mini split AC.”

“This room is old by accidentally. Clinic staff is very helpful. It has a small bar that is fully equipped and they have the most delicious mango habanero margaritas. I have to be truthful and say that the stairs are made out of glass. I am a plus size girl and I am scared of heights and this was scary to me. Next time I go I will make sure to book ahead so I can get a first floor front of the pool room. Overall excellent experience”
