“We loved the history of this beautiful hotel. We had a king suite which was very spacious and comfortable. We happened to be there when the restaurant was closed, and we were bummed about that.”

“The bed was not very comfortable (too firm for me), and the rooms had been updated, but some of the age related stuff was just still obvious. The interior was fine, the exterior quite worn. That said, the price point is super cheap, so it met expectations. What it lacked in creature comfort and looks it makes up for with really really friendly and helpful staff and low cost.”

“Felt like staff was just there drawing a paycheck.”

“The room was clean. The walls were thin. The neighbors were loud and their dogs kept barking. I got very little sleep.”

“The air conditioner in our room barely blew cold air. When the couple we were traveling with told the desk clerk at checkout about an issue with their room, the clerk seemed disinterested. No apology, did not write down the issue. At breakfast at 6 am their were only 4 slices of Canadian Bacon for breakfast and no one around to inform. The room was clean but I would chose another place to stay in the area.”

“Great breakfast with pancakes, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, etc. and excellent coffee from coffee machines!”
