The staff also claimed hotel does not accept pre-paid reservations as a matter of policy and hence I would have to pay them in cash as they also did not have any way to receive payment by credit card. Since I had insufficient cash on me anyway, I refused to pay twice for what was already way overpriced accommodations in Latacunga, Ecuador. "
