"The property is beautiful and I had a lovely stay. The directions to the property are great but from the front gate I had some trouble finding the name eaglesnest in the dark. It would be good to light the name or include a property map in the information. Also a small thing, I would consider changing coffee pod brands."

"Beautiful heritage hotel with amazing staff. Lovely balcony room with massive bath & Appelle toiletries. Breakfast was a treat - continental & cooked to order smashed avo eggs. Autumn leaves & the kangaroos. I can’t wait to visit again for a winter spa weekend. "

"The aspect was serene and made you feel part of the wild Australian bush, with expansive hillside slopes and swaying trees, cows on the hillcrest and the sun streaming down through the valley; yet just off the road for access. It was a fantastic way to feel isolated in a calm, luxurious cocoon with 6 places to sit, lie, bathe and relax in a beautifully compact space inside but also connect to the outside on the deck for champagne or private bath overlooking the valley. "We had such a lovely stay at this accommodation. The central location was perfect, making everything easily accessible while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. The space itself is unique, cosy, and incredibly romantic, with a calm, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind.The bed was very comfortable, and the furnishings really enhanced that warm, cosy feel. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extra touches—tea, coffee, and snacks on arrival, as well as the fireplace set up with everything you need to create a beautiful fire in the cooler months.The rain shower was fantastic, and the mood lighting added a special ambience that made the whole experience feel a little bit luxurious. Customer service was spot on—friendly, responsive, and attentive without being intrusive.The only small suggestion would be to include a little body wash in the shower, which would elevate the experience even further and complement the lovely atmosphere already created.Overall, a wonderful stay that we would happily recommend to others looking for a cosy, romantic getaway."

"The room was nice in terms of its layout and aesthetic but the fridge was humming loudly all night (I turned it down to the lowest setting but didnt help much) and there is an aircon unit or something right behind the bedroom wall when your head is while in bed. That was noisy and annoying. So I didnt really have a relaxing time, despite the environment. "

"This is the most terrible place to stay. No deep clean undertaken in ann extremely long time. Only surface clean. Cottage smelt of old fat and cooking. The bbq was unusable it was that disgusting. There was cat pee still smelling near the bed. The only good thing was the linen was clean. The owner has no care and no interest in coming to the party to provide a refund. Never stay here ever. "

"This was our third time staying at Alofi. First was 20 years ago just after we were married. We returned to celebrate our anniversary. It was like a homecoming of sorts. Such great memories there. Still just as good, spotlessly clean and so well equipped! "
