[3] StayAwhile: The Cozy Retreat

  • StayAwhile: The Cozy Retreat

Experience Lawrence like a local in this funky, newly remodeled apartment! Just two blocks from Mass Street and the KU campus, you’ll be in the heart of the action while still enjoying your own private retreat. With two bedrooms and one bathroom, there’s plenty of space for friends, family, or a weekend getaway packed with fun.

    Your Home Base for Adventure:
The apartment is clean, stylish, and ready for you to make it your own. Lounge in the spacious living room with comfy seating and a flat-screen TV, or whip up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen—stove, oven, microwave, fridge, and all the essentials are included. Both bedrooms are cozy and bright, with ample storage, while the modern bathroom features a shower/tub combo and plenty of fluffy towels.

    Relax, Recharge, Repeat:
Curl up with your favorite shows, sip morning coffee, or enjoy a quiet evening after exploring the city. Washer and dryer included for your convenience, plus high-speed WiFi keeps you connected whenever you need.

    Prime Location, Endless Possibilities:

    2-minute drive to downtown Lawrence
5-minute drive to Allen Fieldhouse, home of the Kansas Jayhawks
    Walking distance to KU campus
Whether you’re here for the culture, sports, or the nightlife, your Cozy Retreat puts you in the perfect spot.

    Getting Around:
Street parking is plentiful, and we recommend the alleyway for easy access and peace of mind. Lawrence’s bus system, “The T,” is nearby, and ride-sharing options like Uber or Lyft make exploring the city a breeze.

    House Rules:

    No pets
No food or beverages in bed/furniture
    No parties
No smoking indoors or in our patio

    Important Guest Info:
This is a self-service rental (not a hotel). Essentials like toilet paper, soap, and batteries are ready for you. Our team responds to messages between 7 AM–9 PM to help with anything you need.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The location is ideal: easy access to both Mass St & KU campus. The apartment is awesome: clean, comfortable, relaxing & interior is recently refinished so “new”. As a return guest, the additional changes/upgrades since our last visit were obvious and much appreciated. Fantastic communicator: Fernando immediately responded to all queries. Several families were visiting our daughter for KU graduation so we reserved 3 adjacent apartments from Fernando - it was absolutely lovely to be collocated through "Stay Awhile" properties and relaxing together between graduation activities. Loved our stay and would choose “Stay Awhile” again (& again)
