"Pool area and grounds are lovely. House was pleasant and characterful but bedrooms very hot and not air conditioned ( rather a heatwave). The property worked well for our varied ages. Kitchen was rather tired and aga and oven difficult to use. It would have been useful to have some basic instructions and information on the house, the area, refuse collection etc. The hosts were kind and were there when we arrived to show us round."

"The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us...

"The hotel is in an ideal location however it needs a complete renovation The rooms are tired and dated and the en-suite was un workable, the shower cubicle door was broken and wouldn’t close. The complementary toiletries were 3 sachets of shampoo which wasn’t adequate for a shower. We feel that the price advertised was extortionate for the facilities we had. We will not be returning or recommend this hotel "

Once again the location was perfect (just off the auto-route), the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, the restaurant presenting local menu choices as well as regular fare, the swimming pool for relaxation (although we didn’t use it due to cooler weather) and plenty of free parking.
