"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. What we did not realize that this was a several minute walk from the property itself. There also was no convenient place to bring up the car to unload luggage since there was a fair going...

"When Mieke welcomed us, we felt immediately at home she couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and this continued through the week, checking on us and providing us with cooling fans, advice on places to see and anything else we needed. The property rustic with huge amount of character. It is in a very rural quiet setting but within an easy drive of places of interest in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. Would definitely recommend if traditional is what you are after."

"Beautiful property and ideal for a family or a group of friends. Very peaceful and the location is great for exploring the region. Pool is a nice edition and the outside eating areas are a good size. The hosts are fantastic and will help with any queries you have and give plenty of advice regarding things to see and do. "We had a lovely relaxing couple of weeks 11-25 May 2024. Karima and Mark were great hosts. The weather wasn’t great unusually for this time of year so we only used the pool a few times which was a shame as I love to swim. We made the most of what good weather we had. My husband loves to cycle so on the dry days he explored the area on his bike. The house was lovely and we had most things we needed."
