「Such a quiet spot and Annie couldn’t do enough for us」

「Our stay was perfect for an overnight during further travel. We had a friendly greeting with information of where to eat. The room was clean and comfortable and a more than adequate breakfast. We were lucky to have a parking space on site but there are not really enough spaces for the number of rooms. 」

「The hitel needs a bit of modernisation if compared with other Ibis, but the room was clean and stuff was friendly. Good breakfast as well.」

「Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. Our room was comfortable and clean, good shower,...

「Na een gastvrije ontvangst door de gastvrouw gingen we naar de uitstekende kamer. Eigenlijk een mini appartement met een goed bed, eigen badkamer, apart toilet, tv en kitchenette. In de ochtend hadden we we een goed ontbijt in de gezamenlijke ontbijtruimte. Al met al een aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar.」

「L'hôtel est en travaux mais hôtes très accueillant. Voulant télétravailler le lendemain, et compliqué de se concentrer avec le bruit des travaux par moment en journée, Monsieur m'a gentiment proposé une autre chambre pour être tranquille. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le geste. Je pense que d'ici les beaux jours avec les travaux fini ça va être formidable comme lieu 🙂」

「Het was duidelijk dat de gastvrouw er plezier in heeft om de b&b gezellig in te richten en van alle gemakken te voorzien. Monique was erg gastvrij en attent. We hebben de avond in de grote tuin doorgebracht met een gekoeld drankje dat we, net als de huisgemaakte jam van vlierbloesem, ter plekke konden kopen. In de nacht was het buiten aardedonker en muisstil. Een heerlijke plek uit de drukte in een landelijke omgeving.」

「Das Zimmer war sauber, ordentlich und schlicht ausgestattet. Das Frühstück bot für jeden etwas, auch wenn der Preis dafür etwas zu hoch angesetzt ist. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Kommunikation in Englisch war kein Problem.」
