I absolutely LOVED staying at this house. I stayed here with my family (4-year-old daughter, husband and mother in law) and we felt right at home during the time we were here.
The House: It is very big (5 bedrooms and an office), very nice kitchen and living area, big swimming pool and parking for many cars. Extremely well equipped with anything you may possibly need, especially the kitchen. The house is even nicer in person than in the photos.
The area: Le Cres is a very nice little town very close to Montpellier. The house is only a block away from the center of town and a 10 min walk to a beautiful lake nearby, which is very nice for walks or even to swim in the summer. It also has a quite nice children's playground nearby. Le Cres is 20 min from the beach (which is beautiful by the way. so many options to choose from) and 15 min from Montpellier. It has a tram and also bus connections. The tram is only a 10 min walk from the house. There is a big Carrefour (Tesco-like supermarket) very closeby as well as many other amenities (hairdresser, boulangerie, etc).
The host: Audrey was very helpful from the very beginning, great communication. She does not speak english but her partner does, so if anything got too complicated we always found a way. Really nice lady who takes very good care of the property.
In a nutshell, fabulous stay, don't think twice before booking this lovely place
