"food places nearby were no issue, very convenient to center and the chateau and ocean are walkable. sunset was nice experience from the walls. reception was very pleasant"

"The place was better than expected! Larger than we thought and more than what we needed. The rooms were all quite large with their own bathrooms and showers - everyone reported comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cutlery. The residence is large enough to easily house a large family or multiple families. We played a couple games of pool and watched tv on the multiple tv sets. There is a small washing machine but no dryer but there are two drying racks. The location was great for our WW2 trip - right in the heart of things with not too much driving. We hit St Michel’s Abbey one day, Utah/Omaha the next and then Juno and the British beaches the last. There is a grocery store within a short drive as well as an excellent bakery. Only thing to maybe mention was the lack of some everyday supplies such as hand soap. What we didn’t have was easily picked up at the store the next day. If you are new to Europe possibly have her show you how to lock and unlock the front door! LolDelphine was a great host, and even helped us book a restaurant one night. The homemade plum jam was a nice surprise and was very good!Thanks for being a wonderful host!"

"Logement loué 2 semaines en août. Premières impressions mitigées, mais nous y avons tout de même passé un bon séjour (3 personnes et un animal de compagnie). Échanges avec la propriétaire uniquement par messagerie, c'est dommage.Grosse déception pour la partie sanitaires, la douche fonctionne très mal c'est pénible au quotidien et les WC sont étroits pour les personnes de grande taille. Pour accéder ou sortir de la deuxième chambre il faut passer par la salle d'eau.En revanche côté cuisine très fonctionnel (gazinière, lave vaisselle, micro ondes).Espace correct pour les chambres, la literie c'est en fonction des habitudes de chacun.Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de lave linge sur place, mais laverie automatique à quelques kilomètres au carrefour market.La mise en place d'un étendoir dans le jardin serait un plus.Nous avons apprécié la terrasse couverte qui nous a permis de prendre nos repas en extérieur même par mauvais temps.L'emplacement du chalet en impasse dans un cadre bucolique avec vue sur le bocage et les chevaux depuis le jardin clos est un plus (attention au enfants en bas âge avec le dénivelé). A proximité de nombreuses plages sont accessibles en véhicule à quelques minutes. Niveau restauration, 2 bonnes tables testées à proximité Les huîtres du père gus à Blainville au cœur même du site ostréicole pour une dégustation de fruits de mer et pour le spot face à la plage La plancha à Agon coutainville.
