“Excellent hotel in a stunning location
We had a wonderful stay at Lux Le Morne Mauritius. The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean, and set on a truly beautiful beach with breathtaking views.
One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with wild dolphins — absolutely well worth doing and an unforgettable experience.
I would definitely recommend spending the extra for an ocean view room; waking up to that view really added something special to our stay.
The restaurant was very good……

“Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation.
Quiet except for the continuous roaring of the sea and the waterfall.
Wonderful staff, friendly and courteous. In particular the chief chef who made fascinating meals in local style.
Perfect, if you want something different from the standard resorts.

“Nice place to stay in Mauritius! Very clean. The rooms have AC while the main living area has fans . Bathrooms were very spacious. Staff was really nice and the groundskeeper was so helpful with helping us find transportation when we were in a pinch . Kind staff , cute place”

“Very nice overall. Friendly staff. Close enough to the beach. Shuttle was a bonus. Tours arranged easily. Knowing French and Hindi would help you with communication. Amazing country and peoples! ”
