Came in from CA to meet up with family from ND and we honestly had a great time! So relaxing, plenty of room for a group of 14, basically had everything we could need and if need, we could have it delivered or could drive approximately 5-10 mins away! We are hopefully going to be back sometime next year!

Family vacation

The house is beautiful. There is so much room to spread out. Lots of activities, ping pong table, cornhole, hot tub and fire pit were used a lot. Went to the pool every evening before we ate. We hope to be back.

Great Location and Amazing Property

Our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids/teens) stayed here for 3 nights. This property was very clean and EXTREMELY WELL STOCKED. The kitchen has every gadget/appliance needed. We usually made breakfast and dinner here and had everything we needed to make delicious meals. The kids LOVED the bunkroom and we all enjoyed the ping-pong table. The house was very clean. We enjoyed using the clubhouse pool one afternoon. The location is very convenient to explore the northern Black Hills area. The only minor complaint was the the loft room got very bright in the morning. We all loved this location.

Family get together

The house worked great for our group. The kids loved the ping pong table and bean bag toss in the garage and the hot tub. It was very well furnished with dishes and cooking utensils. Also lots of towels. The only negative comment is that the upstairs bedroom did not have any shades or curtains. It was hard to sleep with the lightness. The club house pool was very crowded and the kids did not enjoy that.

Nice but a few issues

The house itself was nice. The television in the living room was broken but it was replaced the next day. However, the people who installed the new tv stuck around for about another 30 minutes installing additional light fixtures and caulking some exterior items while we just had to kinda hang out and wait for them. The biggest issue was the hot tub was not clean. There was a green film, algae I'm hoping, covering the inside of the tub. This was the 4th time we have rented in Powderhouse Pass and this was the first time we had any issues.

Super clean and extremely comfortable, this property is very well thought out. The hot tub and patio were nice, the deck was awesome to relax on. The heated pool was very comfortable, relaxing and after a swim we enjoyed one of the gas firepits. Happy trails has all the amenities that you need and then some. All you need to bring with you is your clothes and food, the rest is there. Book it. You'll be glad you did. Just don't take one of my weeks as I am going back for sure.

Great property and super clean! Plenty of extra towels and everything we needed, which is always appreciated. The hot tub and clubhouse pool were wonderful. Be aware that many of the upper windows do not have shades so you will get blasted with sun at times and not have as much privacy as you may like. We would definitely stay here again!
