Great Cabin close to Terry Peak

Great property with plenty of space to spread out. Highly recommend to others.

Run Vacation

We were a group of 5 couples. Plenty of room for everyone to be together or be separated. Comfortable beds and seating. The benches at the island need to be replaced, they were very wobblely.You should bring your own hot tub towels. The book said not to use the shower towels for the hot tub and there didn't seem to be any other towels to use.Beautiful area and we had a great time!

4th of July Week Family Vacation

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Ponderosa Peak. I don't know where to begin, as there was so much wonderful about this VRBO! Hot tub and Sauna were amazing! Kitchen was overflowing with all the tools we needed and more. We were a family group of 12 and did a lot of home cooking. We never were lacking for kitchen tools; actually, we were impressed with all the high quality options. The flat top griddle was perfect for outdoor breakfasts. Beds were so comfortable; throw blankets were cuddly soft; couches perfect for an afternoon nap. The peaceful setting in the trees was relaxing. My favorite memories are sitting on the front porch with a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. We would absolutely stay here again for a summer trip to the area. Close to biking/walking trails; quick drive to Lead and Deadwood for some shopping/activities. About an hour from Mt. Rushmore. The home is cozy and charming with all modern conveniences.
