We spent a long weekend at the cabin on fish lake and had a wonderful time. The cabin was well kept and had everything we needed. Definitely would consider staying there again.

Relaxing lake stay

The house was as described, super cozy and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The deck is awesome and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. We had a lot of fun in the lake with our pups. Communication about our stay was excellent!! We would definitely book again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at several Comfy Cabin locations at Fish Lake since 2014. Always very helpful and treat their guests with great respect. We have reservations for Alpine Lakes Escape for July of 2020 and looking forward to it already. We love Fish Lake and our furry pets love it too. It is so relaxing, and peaceful. We stay there on the 4th of July holiday every year, due to the fact that there are no fireworks allowed. Our family is not into all that noise. Our stay at Alpine Lakes Estate in October was just perfect, good weather and lots to see as usual. Thanks for all you do for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Charming house with an awesome view of Fish Lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The driveway was a problem after a rainy night. We had to call a tow truck to help us drive back up to the road. We did not have a four wheel drive vehicle. The tow truck driver said he had been there to the same house last year pulling a car out of the trees! Ours slid back up against one so the driveway may look gouged. It needs a warning sign at the top of the driveway.

Summer Idyll at Fish Lake

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a really nice time at "Alpine Lake Escape" in early summer. There was room for seven of us for meals and leisure activities. We loved the easy access to the dock and lake, as well as the regional attractions at Lake Wenatchee, Leavenworth, and the Wenatchee National Forest. The house was clean, the furniture comfortable, and lots of kitchen equipment and condiments for our cooks. Suggestions: the bar sink in the basement has a deep clog, causing very slow draining. That level could also use a discreet mirror, for use of basement sleepers. We loved seeing all the birds! Eagles and ospreys fishing; hummingbirds, crows, ravens and other winged lovelies.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group has been coming to this house for a couple of years. It's a perfect spot to reconnect with friends and family. My favorite thing about the cabin is the fishing dock that's just a few steps from the back door. I was beyond impressed to find that the owners had replaced the old dock with a nice upgrade that will last for many years to come. Huge value add. We also loved the new propane appliances (grill, deck heater, and firepit). The grill is a Weber. Fired right up and we were able to get a good sear on our steaks. For our group 1/2, the fun of the weekend is in the meal planning, so we appreciated the attention to quality. Did a little outing on Saturday morning. Plain Hardware is a mellow alternative to Leavenworth. Friendly folks who know a thing or two about espresso, cool mountain/camping themed gifts, and hardware. As always Comfy Cabins was responsive and accurate when I made additions to the reservation before the stay. We had a great time! I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Alpine Escape May 2017

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Made a reservation for May 2017. Invited a different group of friends. Our plan was to fish, prepare food on the propane grill, and relax over a long weekend. Upon arriving did a quick walk through and noticed a few items that were out of sorts. The ramp to the fishing dock was dislodged. It sank into the water when you walked on it. You had to jump from the middle of the ramp to get onto the dock without getting your feet wet. The advertised propane grill had been replaced with an electric George Foreman grill. The propane grill was still onsite, but needed a regulator and a hose. Contacted Comfy Cabins, and received a response promptly. Someone came out the following morning to repair the ramp to the dock. Unfortunately, no resolution for the grill. Picked up a regulator and hose at a local hardware store, and repaired the grill the following day. Disappointing that we had to fix it ourselves. In all fairness, Comfy Cabins did give us a small concession for our troubles, and were responsive to our concerns about the dock. The property itself was a little bit rough. The deck had been replaced the day before, and there was still construction debris laying in the side yard. The propane heater that I remember being on the deck last year was in pieces in the yard, as was the picnic table. The light fixtures on the lower patio were broken and hanging from the side of the house by Romex. There was evidence of a previous leak in the entry way with paint bubbling above the front door. We’re a pretty laid back group, so not the end of the world. The rest of the cabin was fine. Roomy, clean, comfortable, and perfect for hanging out. Once we got the grill and the dock situation taken care of, we had a fantastic time. Not quite a 5-star experience, but the potential is there.
