We had a great time staying here. Loved the deck overlooking the river, open kitchen/dining living area, closeness to the sandy riverside beach. Overall, it's just as described and a relaxing place to stay.
Great location with beautiful scenery and lots of games for kids of all ages. Very comfortable home, clean, and well stocked. Nice kitchen for cooking and enjoying meals together.
Perfect location - river right amount of flow and access, common areas good sized and everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. Hope to stay again next year.
Our family of professionals needed a place to relax and rest, away from our busy lives. The sound of the rushing river, the crackling fire in the fire pit, long soaks in the hot tub, and comfortable beds and furniture for sleeping and taking naps. Plan to return soon. Thank you
Location is perfect - far enough from the hussle and bussle of town to feel private and remote, but close enough to visit anytime. Cabin was clean and well stocked with plenty to keep kids occupied. Hot tub was a hit! Sandy beach on property where kids were tubing from! Beautiful views. We had a lovely stay, wish we were there longer!
The weather during our stay 1/19-22/2024 could not have been more perfect. we were a little concerned about having to "hike in" the last 100' but the carts and heated/deiced walkway was a pleasant surprise and actually made it fun. The rooms were a bit small but I guess your just sleeping, so it was fine.
We would definitely stay again.
I can not list all the positives about the Danielle Lodge. Gorgeous, beautiful views, everything you could imagine was provided, the most relaxing vacation we've ever had! We will definitely be coming back next year! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
This is a comfortable, well-equipped cabin in an enchanting setting. We spent pleasant mornings reading and chatting on the deck overlooking the river before setting out for hikes in the gorgeous Okanogan Wenatchee forest. It was great to return in late afternoon for a soak in the hot tub before collaborating on dinner prep in the well-stocked kitchen..We appreciated the comfortable recliners and throw blankets. We’d love to return!
My family (mom, dad, and three teens) had a great time staying here. It was the hottest week this summer and the a/c in the house felt great along with the river and the nearby lake to cool off in. We walked the trail next to the house and put the inner tubes in and floated through three small rapids to the beach. This was so fun! We also had fun exploring the river and heading over to Lake Wenatchee State Park for some lounging time in the water. The house was just like the pictures, welcoming, clean and a real cabin feel. The deck was wonderful to star gaze from at night and the jacuzzi was perfect in the morning and evening. We had a great time and would like to come back.
My husband and I rented this house for our daughter’s and son in-laws birthday. They absolutely loved it. The house sits on the river which offers an incredible view. It gave my granddaughters plenty to do with the board games, gaming system, and foosball table located in the game room. We were able to cook in the beautiful kitchen that came fully equipped with everything you needed. This house is located about 30 minutes from Leavenworth, so being able to cook was a huge plus. The house was clean, well kept and offered numerous amenities. We will definitely be recommending this home to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you for allowing us to stay. We hope to return in the future.
This is an amazing house right on the river. Walking up every morning to the beautiful view view and going to bed each night listening to the sound of the water was the perfect way to unwind on my birthday weekend. Our kids loved throwing rocks in the water for hours, playing chess and ladder ball in the yard, reading in the hammock and soaking in the hot tub each night. Super dog friendly, great AC and fans in every bedroom, comfy beds. A few small things to note: The beach area is community use so all houses on the property have access. We had several groups of people walking down and back up our drive way throughout our stay to access the river- everyone was very respectful and it didn’t bother us but it was not quite as private as I had assumed. The basketball was flat and we couldn’t find a pump so kids were a bit bummed they couldn’t play, but owners have a log for all maintenance needs on the wall and I’m sure it will be taken care of for the next renters. Keep all your sweets in the fridge- we had some pastries in a cardboard box on the counter for breakfast and woke up to find a bunch of ants enjoying them instead. There was also a fire ban so we couldn’t use the fire pit but that’s to be expected in the dry summer months. None of those small things dampened our stay. All in all a great place for a summer getaway with the family! We highly recommend.
Really nice place and everything was in working order. A couple of days were pretty warm with only the portable AC units but everything else was great. We were there 10 days and really enjoyed our stay :)
Our stay at Danielle lodge was fantastic! The home is very well kept, with nice and comfortable furniture/bedding. Pretty much everything you could need is provided. The management was very accommodating, and responsive to my texts & emails. We liked the place so much that we arranged to stay another day! One thing to mention is that if you stay during the wintertime, you cannot drive down to the house – you have to park up at the top and make a 100 foot walk down a very steep driveway (if you have any physical challenges, this would be a problem). We are likely to book another stay during the summer months - we all really loved this place! Highly recommend!
This was our fourth couples weekend getaway with friends, and this was our favorite place so far. Watching or listening to the water added a serene feel to our stay. The living room space and decks were great for socializing, and the dining room table was big enough for eating and playing games.
The location of this lodge is amazing. There is something so calming about hearing the River right next to the house and the views are spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay here.
