"We had 2 rooms at the back of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful welcome. Each room had 2 beds and they were very comfortable. Ensuite clean and white with shower. Aircon noisy but efficient and slept well. Rooms at the front will have some road and noise from the bar below. Bakery below at rear starts early but otherwise quiet rooms."

"My initial impression was dubious but on entering the building I was amazed at the beautiful and unique layout of the property. Although my bedroom (#4) was rather small, I was impressed by the high quality of the decorations. The shower facility was of a high standard. The rooftop terrace has been refurbished into a “chill out” area giving wonderful 360 degree views of the surroundings including a view of the distant castle. "Pleasant rustic hotel in good location at side of lake, ample free parking. Room quite large with plenty of storage space. We booked room with lake view, can be noisy as this also looks over bar and restaurant. Breakfast adequate continental, dinner in restaurant very good. Downside is basic maintenance, worn lock on bedroom door, creaking doors, wardrobe door would not stay closed, toilet system flush required replacing, reported no WiFi in bedroom for 3 days finally working on day we departed."

"Lovely hotel with a fantastic aspect. Staff were exceptional and very friendly, Juan was a gem and could speak English. The room was spacious but not a lot of storage so had to live out a suitcase. Airconditioning decided to stop sending out cold air on the second last day. But weather was a little bit cooler only about 32. Swimming pool was lovely to jump into after travelling around. The restaurant had a nice breakfast not huge but nice and the evening meal was very Spanish some lovely dishes...
