The ad for the place needs to be updated. There is no gym nearby and no discount. The pool is non existent. There is a small kitchen but guests are not allowed to cook in it but you can keep your wine or beer in it. Plus is it is very centrally located and an easy 20 minute walk from the train station.

We stayed a total of 6 nights and thought the location was fanatic.  In the old town close to the major square.  Pretty much pedestrianised, though there are a few cars but they give way to people.  Everywhere was in walking distance,  and if you weren't distracted by the lots of little shops then from here to the outer walls is only about 15 minutes.  The accommodation is close to the main bus routes,  upto 4 minutes walk to catch the bus to the bus station,  then from there many places are able to be reached by bus,  from beaches to Brindisi Airport.  So to summarise,  this place is close to everything,  restaurants,  bars, shops and public transport. So perfect for either the city break or as a base to explore the local area.

DOUBLE CHARGE

The hotel was FINE. In fact we quite liked how they helped us find a late dinner our first night. BUT, they double charged by credit card. I have been reaching out for months to get them to reverse the second charge and no one has done ANYTHING. You can't just charge someone an EXTRA $900. Hotels.com has been worthless getting it back as well. I am sad about it all.

This is part one of two reviews as we had two bookings for this one accommodation.  This place is in the lower half of Lecce old town,  so there is no nearby parking and is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. You need to give the place a call in advance to give an idea as to arrival time,  as it isn't a hotel and there is no reception.  Once called Angelo can be there in 5 or 10 minutes to let you in.  There are about 8 steps from the outside door to the lift,  so be aware of you have mobility issues. The lift is small and can just about take 2 people and a case.  The room itself is one of 3, and the photos in the description are very accurate.  It was very clean and spacious,  having large double doors allowing good ventilation. Even if the curtains are quite thin so don't block out the light.  The shower room was long and thin but had space for the shower,  toilet,  bidet and sink.  All clean and functional.  The bed itself was a good size,  and had a memory foam mattress.  It was slightly soft for me,  but it was comfortable and I slept well.  Make sure you put out the hanger to have to room cleaned,  and ask Angelo for the breakfast details.

Perfect location. Near the Piazza San Oronzo. Right at the shopping street. Cute room. Host Angelo is very responsive to all question and request. Saturday night can be a bit loud as there are huge crowd walking and gathering for Christmas activities at the nearby square. Super convenient to find many food and restaurant options. I also some minimart and small supermarket if you need to get the food supply. Very close by and within walking distance to many important histotic site, churches, museums, and Roman ruins and artisan stores for shopping. For the room I would add the blind curtain as there isn't one. Only lightweight curtain that light can get through in the morning. Some guests may prefer to have a pitch black room for better sleeping. Not everyone get up early due to jetlag from travelling. The bed is on the soft side for me. I would suggest memory foam bed for better support for back. I feel like I'm sinking into the bed. Pillows are comfortable. I would add a small plug-in night light on the common area. The elevator is good for1-2 travellers with 1 large luggage. There are some steps between the main door bldg and elevator platform level. I wish I could use the shared kitchen in Winter but the facility is not in service during this time. However, you could borrow a small hot water kettle if you need to make a hot tea drink. Overall the experience is highly satisfied. You cannot go wrong with this unbeatable location

I wasn’t aware the property is not manned by any staff . So i found myself waiting outside for about an hour waiting to be met and checked in , even after having given my arrival time . There is no breakfast served for a fee or otherwise as suggested on hotels.com. I was there over a weekend - very noisy from the nearby square and street below.

Parfait pour visiter !

Hôte très accueillant et réactif. La chambre était parfaitement propre, au calme et dans un secteur parfait pour visiter Lecce. Seul bémol sur le petit déjeuner à prendre à l'extérieur et un peu léger.

Comodo perché in centro ma.....

Abbiamo scelto il b&b per la sua ottima posizione e perchè c'era scritto che aveva il parcheggio.In realtà non ha un parcheggio e se si capita in periodi intensi si perde un po di tempo per trovarlo.Per la colazione il gestore da un biglietto da usufruire in un bar vicino.Gestore cortese e ambiente pulito ma non vale i 90 euro spesi.

Soggiorno incantevole nel centro di Lecce

La struttura era in Over booking, quindi siamo stati trasferiti nel B&B Chiesa Greca, sempre in zona centrale. Stanza molto bella e ben arredata, decisamente pulita. Colazione presso un bar poco distante. Nel complesso molto consigliato.

B&B in centro a Lecce, in piazza S. Oronzo(centro)

Check in fatto alle 13.00 ma causa mancanza lenzuola è stata posticipata, non male dato che ci hanno fatto depositare i bagagli abbiamo fatto un giro in città. Stanza accogliente e ben dislocata, molto luminosa (2finestre) e a discapito di queste un po' rumorosa data la posizione in centro città, comunque molto accettabile il compromesso. Manca la TV ma in questa splendida città non serve a nulla. Alloggio comodo per andare ovunque, a disposizione anche il pass per parcheggiare sotto caso ed in qualsiasi posto in Lecce città... Ottimo affare, ci ritorneremo di sicuro
