This is the view from atop the Pinnacle Overlook. it gives you a panoramic of Cumberland Gap (on your far left). From here it is easy to tell why settlers used this valley to head West. the view is sensational; You get about a 200 degree view of the western ranges of the smoky mountains. Two crazy people decided to climb over the railing and down to the edge of the cliff. A few hundred feet below is the small town of Cumberland.

“Lakefront Getaway at Swan Seymour was exactly as advertised and the perfect place for a get away with friends and family. “My party of six (ages 12-56) stayed here for a couple of nights over Thanksgiving. It was an adorable home with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The property was beautiful and conveniently located to Tazewell, Morristown, Middlesboro, and Harrogate (to name several). The host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. “The neighbor dog alone makes this property 5 stars! If you miss your pets while on vacation, this is the place to stay. Yes the neighbors have a dog named Sky. “We did a family vacation and everything from the communication with the owners when booking to walking out the door after vacation was seamless. The owners promptly answered any questions we had and gave great suggestions of restaurants, groceries etc. before our stay. We had a party of 12 and the space had a great lay out the kids had a little area to play and be away from all of the adults but the common areas were spacious enough for all of us to gather comfortably. “Check in was a breeze. The fact that you can have a boat delivered to the property floored me. It was hassle free. Our mini vacation before school starting back was amazing, and I attribute it to the location of the house, the amenities provided with the house, and the fact that we could enjoy the lake. “I would rate this 10 stars if allowed. We use VRBO for all our stays and this was by far the best. The attention to detail was top notch. The hosts thought of every little possible detail to make our stay top notch. The place was immaculate and furnishings were beautiful and comfortable.
