“This was a great homebase for our spring break to Kansas City. We loved that it was walkable to downtown shopping, restaurants and parks, and the kids loved the hot tub. The property was clean and well appointed. We had to get in touch with the hosts a couple times, and they were very responsive and helpful. ”

“The entry way was not lit at night. The path going down was very hard for my sister who is in a cast, uneven and slippery. Couch was not comfortable. Couldn’t figure out how to lock the door. ”

“Do not stay at this property. The pictures of the inside of the house are nice, notice there are no pictures of the neighborhood or outdoors spaces, this is for a reason. The house backs up to an extremely loud and busy street. The house is old and paper thin walls, we could hear every car and person walking by - ambulances all night and on the second night we heard gunshots in the distance. We felt unsafe and didn't sleep. When you turn on the water in the shower - brown water comes out for the……

“The floors were filthy when we arrived. After messaging the host, he had them cleaned. It should have been clean when we arrived. Thermostat kept changing itself back to a warmer temperature each day while we were gone. So we came back to a warm unit. There were ants in the kitchen that got into our dogs’ food dish. No hair dryer or broom, even though those things were listed as amenities. ”
