Not quite perfect!

The villa was as shown in the photos and the views and pool were excellent. The villa inside was adequate but not deluxe. There was an led light over the entrance door that never went out so always illuminated the villa I am glad that I didnt have to sleep in the living area. The bed was comfortable but a little large for the room, there was only a small width either side of the bed. Bed was a good size so not sure what the answer is! Now the downside! The directions given were excellent but once you turn off the main road there is a really steep and unkempt road to the villa. This meant that our hire car was only able to negotiate this road in first gear and the sound of the underside scrapping on the road surface was a little worrying. This also meant that the only way to get to the village and eat at the many restaurants was to drive, there is no way that you could walk down and more importantly walk back in the dark. This meant drinking at the restaurants was limited. A real shame when one is on holiday. Would I recommend the villa, would I return|? The answer has to be no. A real shame because it could be wonderful.

Spotlessly clean lovely little villa

The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival and we were greeted in person by the housekeeper. The pool, facilities and space were all lovely and the kitchen was incredibly well equipped. The location above the town gave a great view of the action although the steep and bumpy access track meant we felt safer driving into town than walking and a car with more ground clearance is favourable.

Wonderful villa in a fantastic location

We spent 2 weeks in this wonderful villa at the beginning of June. This is certainly the best time to travel if you love the blossoming nature and like it a bit more untouristy. The villa is situated on a hillside, about 1 km from the centre of Vasiliki. There is a well-stocked supermarket in the immediate vicinity. When Vasiliki has long been in the shade, there is still wonderful sunshine at the pool and on the terrace of this villa. The unobtrusive service of Xrisoula and her team (bed linen and towels were changed twice a week and the pool was cleaned weekly) and the very pleasant contact with Dimitris, who managed the whole thing professionally, should be emphasised. On arrival there was a basic supply of spices, coffee, toilet paper, washing up liquid etc. as well as a delicious bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water. We appreciated that very much. Should Lefkada be our holiday destination again, this villa will certainly be it too.

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine, la vue et l’emplacement était top 👍. Petit bémol sur le fait qu’il n’y avait aucun condiment pour la cuisine, c’est toujours agréable de ne pas avoir à acheter sel poivre huile.. mais c’est un détail . Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Dimitri qui est rapide et disponible pour nous répondre. Je recommande.
