Poorly designed toilets. There was a nail sticking up from the floor near the bathroom which is dangerous. Food was mediocre at best. Hotel was clean. Staff were very helpful..

This is a relatively new hotel located about a ten minute walk from the main downtown market area. The staff were all frindly and could not have been more helpful. Everyone was happy to stop and chat and tell you about themselves and curious to hear about me and where I lived. The rooms were a nice size and clean with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was ample and they gladly made eggs or pancakes. The coffee was instant and had room for improvement. All in all, it was a great stay in a truly wonderful place. Just a word of advice, the altitude is no joke so eat light, and drink plenty of water and then drink some more. Take it slow at first and you’ll be fine by day three.

Um lugar excelente pra sua chegada em Leh. O hotel tem boa infraestrutura perfeita pra aclimatação em altitude. Nós passamos muito mal no primeiro dia por causa da altitude e a equipe ajudou muito. Havia remédio e também aparelho para respiração. Não usamos, mas estava disponível . O aquecimento dobquarto é excelente então ajudou muito nos dias frios. A comida da cozinha é muito boa. O café da manhã é muito variado e gostoso. Recomendo muito o hotel.

The Bodhi Tree hotel is a true gem in Leh! The rooms are clean and very well furnished. The hotel owner, Mr. Norbu, and every single member of the staff is very helpful and courteous. The kitchen staff of Mr. Shaanu, Mr. Kiran and Mr. Sandeep make sure that the food and the food service are top notch. The entire staff takes great care of the hotel guests and they made sure we had a wonderful stay in Leh.

There was an absolute feeling on tranquility upon entering the courtyard then lobby of the Bodhi Tree. As Americans, we had been overwhelmed by the drive on tiny streets, honking, and mountain road from Srinagar…. The oasis of Bodhi tree for the next three days was a balm. The manager and staff were very gracious and the garden was a dream.

Its relatively new property. Staff is helpful. RO water refills are available for free in glass bottles. Manager helped us plan the itinerary and he and his front desk staff always remained eager to help us with permits, sight seeing, info on shopping, local cuisine and places to go.

Very friendly staff, excellent hospitality on all aspects and always done with a personal touch, excellent dining options and always made fresh on order. I stayed with my family and we all were super pleased with everything. If there is something that can be improved, that would be the internet connection which kept on dropping intermittently. But that was not that important for us - I would give them 5-stars rating on everything!!
