"The room was very clean, although the floor was a little sandy. The bed was extremely confortable! The mini fridge kept my food and drinks ice cold and the ac kept the room nice and cool. The walls were a little thin and being off a busy thoroughfare, I could hear some traffic noise but it wasn't too bad. The property was well maintained and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied and would definitely stay again. "

"This is an older property that has been renovated. From the outside, at a glance, you could miss this truly charming gem. I’ve visited the area for over 20 yrs and I never knew this was here. "Coastal Suites is a reasonably priced hotel in a busy section of Wilmington. My only complaint is about noise in the vending/ice machine area which is quite loud in my room which was next to this area. On Wednesday evening someone was talking on his phone. Early Thursday morning some taking a large amount of ice from the machine. This noise was quite disturbing."

"This property was beautiful and peaceful. The place was nicely decorated. For the property being pricey, the gravel parking lot and the unloading of luggage was very unexpected. One thing I can say is that we got in our steps while unloading. Next time we will bring our travel wagon. 😅. Other than that we enjoyed the stay!"
