「The location is great, especially if you’re planning to visit Buffalo Rock State Park, Matthiessen State Park, or Starved Rock. They also offer kayaking on-site, and I believe they offer discounts on kayaking if you’re staying at the campground.
The nearest towns are about 10–15 minutes away, so you’re still fairly close to restaurants, stores, and other necessities.

「The heritage harbor is a really nice community to stay at and a good location. We visited downtown ottawa, utica and starved rock.
