A good stay

It was great to have the space, facilities and car parking space for the price that we paid although the lack of information beforehand on the website meant that we didn't know what to expect. Everything was clean and tidy but some lights didn’t seem to work and one cupboard door wouldn't stay shut (little things that won't take much to fix). Breakfast had a good selection to suit different tastes.

Hotel was very old, with old house smell. Poor ventilation in the room, had to keep windows open all the time. Towels did not dry in the bathroom. The junior suite (room 8) balcony would really need renovation. Room was a bit shabby but fairly clean and beds were ok. Breakfast was simple but good quality. Expected a lot more for the price. Hotel website promises more luxury than there actually is.

I stayed here for two nights. I stay at a lot of hotels, and it's one of the only times where I really felt value for money. The exterior is beautiful, and while the corridors look somewhat dated, don't get fooled - the rooms are beautiful, and super clean, the staff are extremely friendly, and the breakfast is amazing with a rich variety, and much more than you could ever expect from a hotel breakfast. The hotel is located in a small city where nothing much happens, but it's super safe to walk around. Close to water and beach, closer to some larger cities and only 1 hrs from Billund Airport and Legoland. I will stay here again in a heartbeat. 5/5 from me.

I missed the personal service. I did´nt see any person. The outlook from my window was very shabby. The bathroom was not very clean. In the douche i found a pieco soap from long, long ago.

Seng og morgenmad ok men så er der heller ikke mere positivt at sige. Badeværelset var sååå snavset.badeforhæng lå på gulvet da vi kom og ingen personlig betjening overhovedet. Kan ikke anbefale dette.

Det burdeikke hede Hotel Smedegården for der var ingen service, et B & B. Lamper i badeværelse samt ventilator trænger til rengøring, natborde der vipede. Støj fra gaden.udenoms trænger det til en opfriskning især haven. Prisen for høj til det du får.

På kroophold uden at tjekke ind eller ud.

Jeg ankom til kroen kl. ca. 19, og om eftermiddagen modtog jeg en sms med dørkode og værelsesnummer. Så ved ankomst skulle jeg ikke tjekke ind men gik direkte til værelset. Mit singleværelse var helt okay med kaffe, the og elkedel og udmærket madras på sengen. Næste morgen kunne jeg gå direkte til morgenmadsbuffet med alt klargjort fra start. Jeg mødte ingen ansatte personale på noget tidspunkt, men jeg havde et mobilnummer til kontakt, hvis jeg skulle få brug for dette. Det fik jeg så ikke, men det var lidt uvant at køre derfra uden at have mødt en eneste person.

Fint sted

En overnatning i familielejligheden, som var det fineste lille hus over for hotellet. To etager, fint toilet og bad, køkken med det vigtigste bl.a. køleskab og mikroovn. Fine værelser og gode senge. Lidt slidt nogle steder, men sengene fejlede intet. Morgenmad inkluderet og helt standard med brød, æg, pølser, bacon, pandekager, yoghurt osv, gaske fint.

Die Dame vom Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam!!! Das Frühstück war wirklich ausreichend und der Kaffee war sehr gut! Leider kam am viel zu kleinen Waschbecken kein warmes Wasser an. Das Kopfkissen war unter dem Bezug sehr schmutzig (gelb von Schweiß usw.) In dem Raum fehlt es an einer Garderobe, da man z.B. feuchte Jacken nicht in den Schrank hängt. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr sauber und für den Preis auch okay. Mit etwas Lärm ist zu rechnen, wenn man weiß, dass die Bahn vor der Tür fährt.
