Our stay met all our expectations and some. We stayed ina villa with pool. romantic and the bonus of free mini bar and turn down service was a surprise. Only downfall there was only seating in our room for 1

While the beach area is fairly nice (its rocky once in the water) the resort itself looks nothing like the pictures online. The entire resort is very dated, no elevator, dark and dingy reception, and the room was terrible. The mattress was rock hard and the AC hardly worked. Breakfast was alright, decent selection but was mostly cold by the time we got there. We had booked for 4 nights but left after one. Don’t recommend staying here!

Loved staying here. Loved having our own plunge pool. Very peaceful. But the bed!!!! Rickety, loud, wooden and creeky. Mattress was so hard. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Bar from the bed, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Nice and pleasant stay but they double charged me and still 2 months later have not refunded me. At check out they said that I hadn't paid when I booked. I was sure that I did but presented my card as I trusted them. After, when I had internet service, I checked and saw that I had paid at booking. I emailed them and they didn't respond. After a follow up they said that they would look into it. I haven't heard from them again after 3 more follow up and 2 months of waiting. I fear I won't get my money back and want to warn others of this.

Overall staying here was the first options to choose when it comes to Nusa Lembongan, cannot compare with the others hotel, thanks for the room upg too, what a nice view! Keep up the great work of the services, love the waffle on breakfast too!!

Overall stay was good. Breakfast was excellent each day. Couldnt really swim in ocean due too seaweed farms. Cocktails are good. It was a good base to travel around the island on scooter.

The resort is very pretty but we found that we had very small cups for cuppa, we had nothing in our room to wash ourselves luckily I saw a cleaner to get something to wash ourselves and toilet roll. It would have been nice to have a hand towel as well.

Would never stay here again- Would not recommend.
We were early at the hotel so had to wait in the restuarant/hotel, first thing we noticed is the high number of flies in the restaurant - unpleasant. When we checked into our room we looked over the room and there were ants all over the headboard and in the bed and on the pillows. There were hundreds. We obviously could not stay in this room (which we paid to upgrade aswell) so we asked for another room. The next room, also had ants but on the floor. However the room had an awful sewage stench which was unbearable. They then upgraded us to a suite which was OK, but very basic. There were no shower gel provided, no hand towels, nothing extra/different to the normal rooms. Outside area around the pool, the pool never felt or looked clean. There were millions of ants all over the sunbeds and on the sand and around the pool. The hotel just felt dirty. The sea, on the pictures look great, however it doesn’t actually seem like you can swim in it. It’s not the bright blue colours the pictures show, it’s fulll of metal rods I think for fishing so unable to swim in the sea. Nobody went in the sea while i stayed there. Do not trust the pictures.

Nice place, the room was great and the beachfront also good. Note there are rocks / reef in the water so don't expect a deep sandy beach.

Beautiful place and staff - however for the price I paid for a beach view suite I had expected the wifi and tv to work a little better. The wifi was the worst out of all places I have stayed on my multiple trips to Bali, even though I paid nearly $300 a night for this 2 night stay. The TV also did not work which was another disappointment. Other than that the view, room and staff were amazing.

The problem with internet on Nusa Lembongan is that there are no cables on the island to transmit the internet. All internet is coming from Bali (the main island) as wifi. Weather and a rough ocean are very influential on the quality of internet on the island. Bali doesn't have this problem as they have a glassfiber network to make sure the internet is good on Bali. Nicest Stay in The Area
Nicest stay in the area. The food outside on the beach for dinner was delicious loved the vibe. Super clean room although at the north far end of nusa lembongan, it was still a quick walk 10 minute to move south of the strip. Mahagiri also has a very beautiful sunset every night.

The Mahagiri Resort had very friendly staff as do almost all places in Lembongan. The resort itself is absolutely misleading, run down, and poorly designed. It failed in every aspect from appearance, location, water access, old and weathered buildings, cement décor, etc, etc, etc.

If you like the Holiday Inn...
If you like the Holiday Inn, you'll like this resort. It is trying to be very Westernized with huge buffets of overpriced average food and groups of Chinese day tourist that visit the resort. You can walk 2 minutes down the street to get better food and drinks for half the price. The rooms are basic and the bed is very uncomfortable. The worst part is that the rooms have ventilation in the bathroom directly to the outdoors so when the locals burn trash, the burnt trash smell is in your room cycling through the air conditioning. The pool and beach are fairly nice and the management staff try to keep the trash off from the beach. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. There are many other hotels in a Balinese style, with all the same comforts, right down the street for half the price.

Very friendly and helpful personal. The room were clean and tidy. Food was always fresh, so could it without hesitation (if you see the area over there you will know why). The only cons were the mass chinese tours that come everyday (they are very loud) and the stony see. All in all we had a good time abd woud recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Plenty of room amenities. Just don’t get the room overlooking the street. Too much noise plus annoying rooster that crows at 3:30am, which is why I’m awake right now writing this review. Otherwise the food is great here. Staff is super friendly. The view is incredible. Saw the sunset yesterday from the hotel’s beach. Can’t wait to see the sunrise today from the same beach.

Good location , we were on the 4th floor a lift would make it much easier to get your luggage up to your room , hotel being less than 3 years old some things were done on the cheap , such as shower curtains in the shower ( sorry my pet hate is shower curtains ) for the price we paid per night i was expecting to get a glass shower door.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. I am guessing that you stayed on our 2nd floor as we do not have a 4th floor. Mahagiri Resort Nusa Lembongan is a two story building consisting of the ground floor where our reception and restaurants are located and two floors above with our rooms. We do also have 4 private pool Villas and 8 Lagoon Villas located on the ground floor. I am terrible sorry you carried your own luggage up to your room. When we first opened this was a common comment from our guests. We addressed it by employing several bellhops, room attendants ready and willing to assist with luggage for this purpose only. And again it is very regrettable that you carried our one luggage up or down the stairs. I sure if you were to visit again you would find our staff ready to assist with smiling faces. I understand your pet hate of shower curtains and would prefer a glass door myself. But after many consultations with our builders they suggested against them for safety reason on Lembongan. We appreciated the feedback and perhaps this is a decision we will review. I sincerely hope that these items not affect your stay with us completely and you were able to enjoy all the things that Mahagiri Resort Nusa Lembongan has to offer. We hope to see you agin and until then take care and safe travels.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the rooms facing the road are very noisy, Breakfast was basic and lots of fly’s in the restaurant, The staff are very lazy and can’t be bothered doing much by the look of them although the manager was kind enough to give us a room with a king size bed instead of 2 singles pushed together.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms.
We were upgraded to a pool villa, it was lovely having a private pool, but of course no views. The bathroom toilet area was very smelly. But this is not uncommon in this area of the world. Easy walk to bike hire, spa, bars and restaurants. The beach area at sunset is a real treat to experience.

Amazing location right on the beach and close to almost everything. Overall our stay was good, but the quality of the hotel wasn’t the greatest. It’s quite noisy as the walls are thin and you can hear the music from the beach bar. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. :)

Buffet breakfast was amazing!! Beds were super comfortable and clean. We had a massage included and this was by far the best and most professional one we had during our stay. Loved the big day bed on the balcony and the blackout curtains were great for a sleep in.

WOW! No complaints!
No complaints about Mahagiri Resort!!! This place was absolutely beautiful and it made our stay in Nusa Lembongan a million times better! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool was so warm and clean and being right on the beach was perfect. The breakfast buffet had everything you could think of and was delicious.
