The staff were soooo lovely here. The room was really nice, as was the pool. The only let down was our bathroom - it just didn’t feel clean & the shower & sink drains were not draining.

Disappointing

I booked this last minute as I was travelling in the area. The reviews were mixed and mine is the same. This property appears to have been ‘grand’ in its time but has sadly been allowed to slip into disrepair. It’s ideally located on the main road through the village - it is close to some nice bars and eateries. The beach is not far away at all. We hired a moped which allowed us to visit the island and see more. Be aware, boat arrivals and departures are usually from Mushroom Beach which is approx. 3 miles away. For me, customer service was not good in the sense that staff were not happy or friendly towards us which has not been the reception or service I’ve had in other areas of Bali or local islands. The room was spacious but old and the bathroom was not clean. The pool area including beds is also dated and not clean. Beach towels were provided but they were also old and had stains. My final point to add is that I have stayed in 5 areas of Bali over 16 days - the restaurant here was over whelmed with flies and it is the only hotel room where I received insect bites. As such we only ate one breakfast here as I was not inspired to eat or use the facilities. It would not take much to make this place nice again, it just feels unloved!

Comfortable

This hotel had a very comfortable bed and very nice staff, only one power point worked, and the bathroom needed upgrading, it had a good tv, and really good wifi, and was generally comfortable, I had a room at the front, near the road, and it was very noisy, but overall a basic accommodation for a really good price,

Auch wenn der erste Eindruck von der Straße unscheinbar ist, gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Saubere und ruhige Zimmer, schöner Pool, gutes Frühstück und nette Angestellte!

とても清潔で快適で安心して、過ごす事ができました！ ボート乗り場からも近く、ホテルの周りにも食事ができるところもあり、何かと便利でした。プールもあってのんびり過ごせて良かったです！

Comfortable stay in great location

Hotel has nice pool area and the room is spacious and clean. Bed was good and double curtains makes the room dark! They provide two towels (one for beach/pool and one for showering), which was great! Breakfast is simple (toast&egg or banana pancake, little fruitplate and coffee or tea) but you are close to restaurants, if you want to upgrade to smoothies etc. Only downside was there was no hot water in the shower. It’s not ice cold but still at first a bit too cold.

Udmærket hotel. Der var lidt støj fra håndværkere der arbejdede på nogle værelser. Vi lejede en scooter igennem hotellet, men sidespejlene var gået i stykker og det var svært at få hjelme. Sødt personale og fin beliggenhed.

Hotellet har en rigtig god placering i forhold til by og strand. Generelt er der rent og bekvemt. Dog har de problemer med myre på hotellet og jeg fandt enkelte i min seng. Personalet taler slet ikke engelsk - generelt var de lokale bedre til engelsk end personalet på hotellet. Det kan være en udfordring, hvis man skal have hjælp til f.eks. Turer, transfer etc. De gav heller ingen information ved ankomst. Rigtig fint til rejse på egen hånd. Følte mig tryg.

素敵なヴィラ

急に予約をしたんですがフロントの方が快く対応してくれウェルカムドリンクまで出してくれました。 部屋は白を基調としたとても清潔感がある広めの部屋です。 トイレとシャワーは仕切りがないんですが広めになっているので使いづらさはありませんでした。 アメニティーは石鹸以外ありません。 中庭にはプールもありとても気に入りました。

大通りに面した便利なホテル

レンボンガン島の「大通り」に面したホテル。ビーチまでも200m弱で近い。ホテルのバイクを借りて島内観光も可能。潮流の関係で多くの場合ダイビングは午前中のみの場合があり、午後に時間を持て余すので。勿論徒歩による周辺の散策にも便利な立地です。

Pondok Jenggala januari 2018

Fick byta rum tre gånger under min vistelse på fem dagar, då samtliga rum var invaderade av kackerlackor. Öppna fönster i badrum där insekter kröp in och badrumsdörren gick heller inte att stänga, bland annat ödlor kom in i sovrummet. Personalen pratade knappt engelska och försökte lura oss till att betala överpris för taxi samt överresa med båt till närliggande öar, istället löste vi det på egen hand genom att promenera till den lokala turistbyrån. Helt okej gratis frukost men snål portion. Avråder samtliga från att boka detta hotell.

Personalen pratade dålig engelska, var inte särskilt service minded och när vi ville boka transport via hotellet (som en av de tjänster de erbjöd) drog de på med fruktansvärda överpriser. Rummet var helt okej, men badrummet var inte i gott skick. Knappt något vattentryck. I allmänt nedgånget skick - för det priset förväntade vi oss bättre standard. Okej frukost smakmässigt, men snål portion där det inte gick att få mer eller köpa till mer.

Few issues

There were issues with staying at the Pondok Jenggala. The room was outright dirty, aircon was not working, few times the hot water boiler was not working, and the internet in the rooms died down. Its usually ok when they try to fix the issues when notified, but on this resort I got answers like "just use the internet in the cafeteria", or "cannot change the room to a working aircon room because the cleaning lady has already left home" -Even thou loads of staff present and the resort completely empty. Aircon, hot water and internet are those things that you are ready to pay some extra, right? They did offer me to change the room on the next day but i didn't really need the aircon in the end because its little cooler on the rainy season, and few days later they did fix the internet too. Basically just felt that guests were not appreciated fully, and what seemed more like a management problem. When checking out they wanted to charge me for a bill from the restaurant that never happened. I understand mistakes can happen and the bill was waived. On a positive note, its a nice location, breakfast is ok and their pool is nice.
