“My gosh this place is so adorable and cozy. We stayed only one night, but already have plans to come back. The communication ahead of our arrival was great. The check in was smooth. The location is quiet, beautiful and serene. Would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a bit.”

“The house was perfect for our little getaway.”

“Everything was spotless, comfortable and adorably decorated. Very charming. Great communication from host. Would not hesitate to stay again!”

“Great property and host! Would stay there again.”

“The penthouse is more incredible than the pictures show. We loved all of the special touches - murals, cows, old school video game machine, hanging chairs. We had plenty of shampoo, soap, tp, towels, coffee. I loved hearing the clock tower from the courthouse. I've never been on The Square after businesses are closed; we really enjoyed the quiet ambience. There is not a door to the bedroom, so privacy may be a factor if you are sharing the rental with friends/family. Similarly, the beautiful……

“The home was directly as advertised. It was clean, cozy, and a comfortable place for a weekend getaway. Me and my girlfriend had a very nice experience staying here and its a convenient distance from Galena!”

“Nicely set up and clean. The town has a great downtown with lots of local shopping and an even better coffee shop than the chains! Close to a park and local grocery store as well.”

“Very clean and comfortable. Loved exploring the area!”

“Great Stay. Will book again!”

“Great place to stay ”

“This was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at in Galena. We have stayed at a lot of them. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Love the TV watching setup and the furniture was comfortable. So unusual in a rental. Both my husband and I have back issues so need support and a way to put up our feet. First time we went home without pain/discomfort. Loved that one of the showers was a normal size and not a tiny square. We stayed for a week and didnt need the air conditioning with the windows open……

“The property was exactly what we needed and the hosts were very responsive.”

“Great spacious house!”

“We loved our stay here! The mid-century decor was so fun! There were so many cool little details to discover. Plus, the location was phenomenal! It was so private, and surrounded by trees and wildlife. We even saw a baby deer when we arrived. The hot tub was a great way to end a busy day, or to start one. And the Japanese soaking tub was a pretty neat experience as well. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, but not much space for storing non-refrigerated food that you bring.……

“House was really nice and well cared for. Very clean and nice space. Had all we needed. Very much enjoyed the hot tub as well. We had a very nice time and enjoyed our trip.”

“This is an extraordinary modern "Treehouse"-esque property. Perfect for a couple or two. Has great amenities to take advantage of, making it feel more like a home than a hotel.”

“Very beautiful property”

“Great big home. Lots of space for everyone. We had a family vacation complete with kids and grandkids and it was the perfect place. Thing for all ages, For inclement weather, plenty of space to play games, screens for movie streaming, or hang out and play some pool or ping pong. On the nice days, everyone loved the animals, soccer and baseball fields for open play time or hang out close by and play close to house. Downtown Galena is about 20 minute drive so more entertainment options are close.……
