Wonderful home close to Lenox center and Tanglewood

We had an incredible stay for the second time at this beautiful home, very conveniently located to the restaurants and shops of Lenox and the Tanglewood grounds. Would highly recommend this home!

Lovely home and great location

Wonderful getaway with all the amenities!

Spacious home with everything you want and more. Fantastic location and excellent condition - walking distance to Lenox shops and restaurants and easy driving to many other sites. Owner makes sure you have everything you need and more. Would highly recommend!

Lovely House, Great Location

This house was perfect for a long weekend for five women. We each had our own bedroom yet there were several cozy locations for gathering together. House was comfortable and well equipped. It’s minutes away from town, which has great restaurants and shopping. We had a great time.

Berkshire get away

True to word and lovely, comfortable home - well cared for and loved. Very short walk to all the best restaurants and great place from which to hike, see museums and get to know the Berkshire's or just sit on the porch and enjoy the weather relaxing with friends. Great group house!

Wonderful home in the heart of Lenox

We had an incredible stay at Carol's home in Lenox. The house was beautiful and spacious. We stayed there with my kids and older parents, and it was perfect. We walked into town for dinner and ice cream, and it was just a quick ride away from Tanglewood where we spent a lot of time. Carol was so welcoming and communicative with us. We would love to come back!

The house delighted all 6 of us childhood friends who met in this Lenox house for a reunion. It was well-stocked, well-maintained, nicely furnished, beautifully landscaped and very convenient to the center of Lenox. We met the owner and she provided good information about nearby activities and restaurants. I would certainly recommend it to others.

A wonderful rental

This home is well-maintained, charming, large and comfortable. The owner is available but respects your privacy. The house is centrally located in the Berkshires and in walking distance to restaurants and shops and a playground. Our large extended three generational family had plenty of room. Do not hesitate to spend your vacation here. It will not disappoint.

Gracious home in Lenox, MA

Carol's home is everything she says -- beautiful, spacious, fully equipped, within short walking distance to Lenox center and only 5 minute drive from Tanglewood. It was a pleasure to stay here with our 3 sons, daughter-in-law ad 2 small grandsons. We could have fit more! I would recommend it to anyone who needs the space for a large group.

Lovely and comfortable home

Carol is a gracious host and this is reflected in her comfortable and beautiful home. We stayed as a family group of 8, ages 10 to 74, and everyone enjoyed their stay. The property is quiet, with nice grounds. Everything we used in the house worked well, although we didn't use the washer/dryer, the Jacuzzi or the grill. The location is ideal for exploring The Berkshires and strolling around Lenox. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk to dinner at the many good restaurants in Lenox.

Perfect Home in Lenox

2 families rented this home for a ski wknd. Owner great to work with and responsive. Close enough to Ski Butternut/Great Barrington. An inviting home. Clean. Owner had fireplace ready for us...just had to strike a match! This was a particularly nice touch and first time we've experienced that. Overall, great stay. Only positive things to say.

Amazing house for the perfect fall getaway!

We were fortunate enough to stay at Village View over Columbus Day weekend. There were several adults and a few small children in our group and this beautiful home accommodated all of us comfortably. There's a grassy area outside that was perfect for letting the little ones run around and the downtown area is close enough for a nice walk. Everything was clean when we arrived Carol was a delight to work with. I would highly recommend this house, although I'm reluctant to because I don't want it to be booked the next time I want to visit the Berkshires!

Fabulous Family Week!

My family of 6 (younger and older adults) rented this house for a week in August and had the most wonderful time. The bedrooms and baths were of more than ample size and there was a beautiful flow to the layout of the rooms - we didn't bump elbows once! There were numerous spaces for quiet, private times and generous spaces for all the group gatherings. The kitchen got the most use since everyone helped prepare meals several times a day without any problem. Most important of all, the owner was nearby and always available - welcoming us and making us feel comfortable throughout our stay.

Village View: Quintessential Lenox

We were a group of 6 longtime friends looking to reconnect and recharge. We chose Village View because of its superb proximity to live performances at Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, Shakespeare & Co., and historic Gilded Age sites like Naumkeag, Chesterwood, The Mount. Carol, the owner, was an excellent host. We appreciated the care she took of us, and the exquisite decorating of Village View. The house was PERFECT! We hope to make annual pilgrimages to Lenox, and will seek to stay at Village View!

Breathtaking

The pictures do not do this house justice. This house is beautiful, functional and very comfortable. If you enjoy shopping, there is a selection of shops, galleries, liquor stores, food market and restaurants just down the hill. No need to drive, however the climb up the hill could be challenging for some people. We had a wonderful time at this house and would rent this house again as well as recommending it to friends or family.
