Absolutely loved our stay here with our two golden doodles! We were in town for our daughter’s hockey game. We stay in chain hotels most weekends snd leave our dogs home . We made a little trip out of this 2 game series and The Colonial Hotel was the perfect little getaway.

Only thing I was Disappointed about was the lack of some kind of breakfast ,I was visiting a friend with cancer who would sleep in later till 10 or 11 and I wake up around 6 am …..so had 4 hours to kill and had to go out and drive around to go eat 😕otherwise I loved this hotel . I was there mid week . Cleanliness great, staff and parking were also perfect 😊😕

Although the property is older, it is kept very clean. All the bedding and mattresses seemed brand new and were very comfortable. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were very nice and the food was great! It has that small New England town feel and is very welcoming.

The room was clean, bed very comfortable and staff pleasant and helpful. The bathroom seemed somewhat dated with barn door style slider to close. No grab bars in the shower and no towel bars. The room had everything you need (microwave, small fridge) but no breakfast area for guests in the morning.
