The room was immaculate and clean. The beds were soft and the pillows were plump. There was a refrigerator but no microwave, which didn’t matter to us. Their breakfast was above average and the coffee bar was always fresh with round the clock coffee. I have nothing but good things to say about the Groton..

I’m sorry to say this place was tired. The wall to wall carpeting is dated, the furnishings need an update, but the bed was comfortable. There were pieces of paper under the bed and the body lotion was empty. I love the location though. I will probably not stay here again unless they do some renovating.

An Exceptional New England Inn! I travel extensively for work and stay in hotels and inns all over the country, and The Groton Inn truly stands out! I originally came for business, but this is absolutely somewhere I would return to just for pleasure. From the beautiful, welcoming lobby to the immaculate accommodations, everything felt like an elevated experience. Even the breakfast offerings were a step above, with unique, high-quality, and healthy options that you don't typically find at hotels. The grounds and surrounding area are simply beautiful—the quintessential New England inn experience, especially during autumn with the gorgeous fall foliage! Such a wonderful stay from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

The Groton Inn is one of my favorite Inns. The only thing I would suggest is they put the coffee makers back in each room. They only have it downstairs in the Lobby, which is not convenient.

We had an amazing stay at the Groton Inn. The front desk staff were so nice. The rooms were big and clean. We loved the free water station and the breakfast had a lot of healthy options. We had a great time in the town too - lots of walking, good food and a concert at Gronton Hill Music Center. It was a perfect weekend away! Would highly recommend Groton Inn.

If you are looking for that charming, cozy New England inn experience, this is not the place for you. It's more like a small 60 room hotel masquerading as an inn. The rooms are large and well appointed but are lacking that quaint New England essence. Our room had some differed maintenance issues (leaky shower faucet all night and bathroom fan that can't be turned off apparently since covid). The breakfast is just a glorified continental breakfast bar, with the addition of hard boiled eggs and yogurt and fresh and dried fruit. On the up side, they have an exercise room.

Very comfortable hotel convenient to Groton attractions. Staff are very nice and helpful. Easy parking and great location. The rooms aren’t as “warm / charming” as you might hope for an historic spot, but they’re spacious and clean.
