「The villa is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for cooking, eating, and entertainment. The beds were comfy and the villa was situated in a quiet corner of the resort next to the woods. Had a raccoon appear at the patio door the first night; guessing that previous guests may have given it a handout. The resort is practically adjacent to Starved Rock State Park, which allowed us to hike in the early morning and get back to the villa for breakfast, then head out again. When...

「Stayed overnight at Mill Street Suite while exploring Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks. It was a cozy and comfortable experience in an extremely convenient location next to both state parks (just a few miles down the road) and on Mill Street next to several eating and drinking establishments. 「This was the perfect place for a weekend in Starved Rock! Location is close to both Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park, downtown Utica, and other neighboring towns. Everything was just like the listing, and bigger than we expected. We would definitely stay again!」

「Every year, we have a group of military guys that reconnect. This cabin has been where we have gathered for the past several years, and the property is amazing! 「We found this place a few years ago and loved it. When we realized it was open for a last minute Mother’s Day weekend trip we jumped on it. What a great place. Unique, interesting, with plenty of room for everyone. We’ll be happy to stay again in the future. 」

「Host was very accommodating. Perfect backyard and back patio area for lounging while kids played. An amazing piece of American history to stay in for our hiking weekend trip. 」

「The place is amazing! Beautiful old home. Very well maintained. Modernized with AC and plenty of outlets. I can't say enough about how great this place is. Perfect bedroom and bathroom layouts. Roku TVs in all bedrooms! We almost never find that!! The owner was very responsive to any question we had. You can tell they have pride of ownership in this place. We didn't get to use the fire pit in the back, but we will next trip. It was an awesome experience. 」
