Magical stay in wonderful house

We arrived by train and the host was so kind to pick us up from the station, and take us to the house. She was always available for additional requests, whether it be towels, coffee machine or things to do, and the house is just great: a swimming pool in a fairy tale kind surrounding, the house itself had a beautiful terrace with enough shading when it is hot and at morning summer sun when it was cool. Beds are very good. There is some noise from the road downstairs. But this didnt bother us much. The house is clean and has enough space. The town of Avignon and Arles are close by (easy reachable by train) and great cities to visit. A real treat, this house and the host, recommended highly!

Un ravissement

Nous avons loué la maison pour quelques jours au festival d'Avignon. La maison a un charme fou avec des meubles et de la vaisselle d'antan, une vue dans dégagée sur la canopée, une piscine fort agréable dans un écrin de verdure. La propriétaire est très sympathique et aux petits soins/réactive en cas de question. Excellent séjour.

Haus mit eigenwilliger Atmossphäre

Das Haus inklusive Grundstück ist sehr eigenwillig aber wunderschön gestaltet. Es fehlte an nichts, weder in der Küche noch in den anderen Räumen. Im Gegenteil, das Haus ist üppig ausgestattet und urgemütlich. In heißen Tagen sorgt die Klimaanlage für eine angenehme Raumtemperatur. Essen auf der Terrasse ist genauso möglich wie in der Sonne am Pool zu verweilen. Alles in allem, ein sehr empfehlenswertes Domizil.

Wunderbares altes Haus /Villa) mit einer eindrücklichen Geschichte, die spürbar ist.

Die "Notre Dame des Anges" ist ein sehr mystisches altes Gebäude mit (im positiven Sinn) spürbarer Geschichte. Menschen, welchen das Flair für solche Häuser fehlt, lassen besser die Finger davon! Originell und in eine baumreiche Hanglage mit spannender Aussicht gebettet, ist Sie eine absolute Perle. Das Rauschen der Schnellstrasse ist zeitweise etwas belastend. Wenn die Grundsauberkeit noch etwas optimiert wird, gibt es für diesen Preis nichts auszusetzen.

Un lieu à part...

Quel plaisir d'avoir retrouvé cette maison que je vois comme un ilot, une bulle paisible accroché(e) à la montagne ;-) J'y avais en effet passé un très joli séjour en 2017 avec ma fille alors âgée de 7 ans, et j'ai eu la chance de retrouver cet été la maison de Véronique (une dame dont je dirais qq mots plus loin :-) Cette maison et son cadre charment instantanément! On ressent quelque chose de sain, de serein et dans le même temps, la curiosité est aiguisée! Simplicité, authenticité, goût, esthétique, souci du détail (il y a bcp de petites choses à découvrir, des petits détails qui enchantent les yeux quand on les voit!) La maison dispose de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin pour un séjour agréable. Et ce que je vais appeler l'espace terrasse devant la maison offre un panorama juste plaisant, au réveil, au déjeuner, au diner... Le coin piscine est selon moi "magique", au milieu de la végétation... Et, fans de longueurs, d'aquagym ou de "ploufs" trouveront leur bonheur! Venons-en à la gardienne du lieu: Véronique! On entre dans son univers, car c'est un univers et "wow"! Et ca prend. Et, car quand on loue c'est important, sa disponibilité est sans faille; elle veut que vous soyez bien et exprime le besoin de savoir que vous êtes bien (sans être intrusive, loin de là). Bonus, elle a beaucoup d'humour (je me permets de partager un sentiment très personnel, mais si la maison m'avait marquée la première fois, les quelques échanges avec Véronique aussi. Et en 2022, j'ai retrouvé ce que j'avais aimé. Certains lieux et certaines personnes "marquent": pour moi, c'est Notre Dame des Anges et Véronique.

A great base to discover Avignon, with a private pool in a wonderful location

Characterful, comfortable, old house with vintage decoration and accessories. We enjoyed eating on the terrace looking out over the Rhone valley, and when it was very hot we spent days by the fabulous swimming pool. Véronique was a helpful and responsive host, and even gave us lifts to the train station.

Tolles Haus mit netter Vermieterin

Das liebevoll eingerichtete Haus steht etwas außerhalb vom Ortskern an einem Hang, ist von der Schnellstraße aus sehr gut erreichbar und bietet viel Platz. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es gibt eine Waschmaschine und Wäscheleinen zum Trocknen. Die Einrichtung ist wundervoll: antike Möbel, passendes Geschirr und wunderschöne Gemälde im ganzen Haus. Es gibt Schattenplätze und Plätze für Sonnenhungrige. Ein absolutes Highlight ist der Pool - so sauber und perfekt in der Größe. Veronique ist stets ansprechbar und kümmert sich rührend um ihre Gäste. Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt! Erwähnenswert ist: man sollte gut zu Fuß sein! Der Weg zum Haus, vom Haus zum Pool und besonders der Weg vom Haus in den Ort ist steil und uneben. Für uns kein Problem, könnte aber bei eingeschränkter Mobilität eins sein.. Unser Fazit: unbedingt hinfahren! Es lohnt sich!

Maison à la décoration très atypique, propriétaire très disponible. Beau jardin, excellente proximité avec Avignon. Toutefois, du bruit constant avec la 4 voies en contrebas et des équipements trop rustiques et peu pratiques à notre goût. Le nombre de marches et l'aménagement de la piscine ne conviennent pas aux enfants ou aux personnes à mobilité limitée. La présence du jardinier sur la propriété est très discrète.

Schön war's :)

Wir (4 Personen mit Hund) haben zwei herrliche Wochen in diesem ungewöhnlichen Haus verbracht. Es ist etwas altmodisch eingerichtet, aber es war alles sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind gut und groß, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Das Grundstück ist schön groß und eingezäunt, so dass unser Hund frei herumlaufen konnte. Das Gassigehen in der Umgebung gestaltete sich etwas schwierig, aber es war machbar. In der näheren Umgebung bekommt man alles, was man braucht. Zum Bäcker ist es nicht weit, mit dem Fahrrad waren wir schnell dort. Das einzige Minus sind die Mücken, die auf der Terrasse und am Pool über uns hergefallen sind. Da ist es gut, einen Mückenspray dabeizuhaben. Ansonsten haben wir zwei Wochen bei herrlichem Wetter genossen und zu viel französischen Rotwein getrunken. Normalerweise sind wir keine "Wiederholungstäter", aber hier könnten wir uns durchaus vorstellen, noch mal wiederzukommen.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus in Hanglage Nähe Avignon

Für mich sind bei einem Ferienhaus 4 Dinge wichtig: Die Lage, Privatspähre, viel Platz und Komfort. In allen 4 Kategorien würde ich hier die volle Punktzahl vergeben. Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig am Ende einer Sackgasse in schöner Aussichtslage am Hang. Das Grundstück, hier insbesondere der Poolbereich und die Terrasse, ist völlig uneinsehbar, der Garten ist riesig und mit Zypressen, Kiefern und Pappeln bewachsen. Trotzdem ist man mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten in Avignon, zu Fuß sind die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ein Restaurant ebenfalls in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Vollständige Küchenausstattung, wie in der Anzeige beschrieben, erwähnenswert die Spülmaschine und die geräumige Kühl/Gerfrierkombination. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und entspannt. Die Zufahrtsstrassen zu dem Haus sind - wie oft in der Provence - sehr schmal. Gut für einen Kleinwagen, weniger gut für einen breiten SUV geeignet!

Charmante maison

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans la maison de Véronique. Elle est très bien située près d’Avignon mais c’est surtout son emplacement à flanc de colline qui nous a charmé. La terrasse semble perchée au milieu des arbres, nous y avons passé des heures très agréables en écoutant de la musique, il y a à disposition une belle collection de CD. La piscine est protégée dans un écrin de verdure assez exceptionnel et nous a régalé les après-midi car il faisait bien chaud. Un bien bel endroit et Véronique est charmante, encore merci.

Kein übliches Ferienhaus. Bücher, Bilder, Musik. Geschmackvoll und bequem eingerichtet von einer großzügig-lässigen Vermieterin, die es zeitweise auch selbst bewohnt. Sehr großes baumbestandenes Grundstück am steilen Südhang zur Rhône-Durance-Ebene. Sonnige Terrasse mit Blumen, kleine Durchblicke zu den Schlosstürmen von Châteaurenard, der Montagnette und zum TGV-Viadukt. Großer Abstand zu den - nicht sichtbaren -Nachbargebäuden. Das Rauschen der im Tal liegenden N100 ist je nach Windrichtung und -stärke mehr oder weniger zu hören.
