"This is not a family friendly place. While traveling with my kids, we arrived exhausted and were welcomed by the property owners who immediately requested everyone to take off their shoes at the entrance of the hotel (they were scared our kids would dirty their carpeted floors) . They then said the room we reserved was all white and that the kids would have to be extremely careful. "We stayed at Hôtel Parc du Landreau after a long day at Puy de Fou. It was easy to check in and since it was not a busy day we felt like we had a private resort! The hot tub was terrific with extra clean shower & changing rooms. It was a nice touch to have tea available next to the tub too. It was a little too cold and windy to use the pool that day but it was also very clean. It was very nice to have the fridge in our room since we stopped for wine and cheese in town. The bed was very comfortable and we slept in which was needed after a long day of walking. Parking was easy which was also a relief. Great stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Domaine Mélusine. I had three nights to visit nearby Puy du Fou. We were tempted to stay longer because it was so comfortable and felt like a home from home. We shared a 3 bed property for two couple and each couple had a bathroom. The property and grounds were clean and spacious. The kitchen had all supplies needed for basic cooking including a Nespresso machine. We would return for a longer stay. "
