Close to the famous ski resort Chamonix, renowned for its location at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe, Les Houches is a small typical mountain village. Capital of mountaineering, Chamonix and its region are much more than a resort: 10 ski areas make up the valley, and many activities are proposed in winter as in summer (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, magnificent spa facing Mont Blanc, hikes to high altitude lakes, mountain biking...).
