Clean and comfortable stay near beautiful sites
The accommodations were basic, but comfortable, quiet and clean. There is a definite hostel vibe here, however the room was private and included a rather small but functional bathroom. The guest breakfast area/lounge had plenty to eat and the brown bread was delicious. You are expected to clean your dishes afterwards, of course. There is an attached restaurant serving lunch and dinner. (It's also where you check-in.) We had a copious and enjoyable dinner there. There are other restaurants and pubs across the street and a medium-size grocery store with an ATM too. Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey are nearby and both are beautiful sites to visit. I would stay here again.

We had the room next to the common room. People were partying in the common room until 4am. The walls are paper thin. Common room should be closed at a certain time. Also, room key didn’t work sometimes, had to climb out the window to get out. Other than that, breakfast was decent, and staff were all fantastic.

Praktisch für eine Nacht auf dem Weg
Es ist ein HoStel und kein HoTel ☺ Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, jedoch knapp in der Grösse und auch wäre eine Renovation begrüssenswert. Löcher in der Badezimmertüre, alle Türen lassen sich nur schwer öffnen und auch sonst ziemlich verbraucht. Sicher gut wenn man eine günstige Übernachtung auf dem Weg sucht.

The staff was lovely and the room was in nice condition. Worth it for the price, and very convenient location for those who are visiting Connemara National Park as the hotel is within a two-minute walking distance to the entrance.

No recomiendo este hotel. Viejo, deteriorado, habitacion abarrotada de camas y sin espacio entre ellas. El personal desaparecido una vez cobrado y por adelantado antes de la estancia. Eso creo que fue lo mejor, que se esfumaran.

Great location and excellent food in the restaurant. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom was minuscule! The common room was excellent with a well stocked kitchen and lots of variety for breakfast included. Highly recommend.

Great customer service
Good people and good accommodations for the price. Clean and comfortable. We did not have the breakfast. Heather and Nathan were very friendly. My son left his jacket in the room when we checked out and we had already returned to London before discovering this fact. We contacted Heather and she mailed the jacket home for us the next day. That is great customer service!

Nice location with restaurant, but not as updated and clean, (clean enough thou). nice hospitality, limited parking spaces but we found one nevertheless.

Hotel par cher mais les chambres sont mal insonnorisees notamment celle qui se trouve a cote de la cuisine. Possibilite d utiliser la cuisine en libre acces.

Propriétaire accueillant et hôtel très bien situé
L'hôtel est très bien situé (à 200 mètres du Parc National du Connemara et de son Centre des Visiteurs). Clifden, la Sky Road ainsi que l'Abbaye de Kylemore se trouvent à proximité. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et le self service du petit déjeuner est très pratique. Quant aux chambres elles sont très spacieuses et très calmes.

Sitio muy práctico, con buena ubicación.
Básico, pero limpio y amplio. En el restaurante se come muy bien. El personal muy amable. Si no tienes grandes pretensiones y te gusta la limpieza y comer, aquí está bien.

Séjour très plaisant à cet hôtel
Lorsque nous avons effectué la réservation, l'endroit portait le nom de Bard Dens Hostel. Il a été modifié depuis. Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux. Notre chambre comportait trois lits simples, dont deux avaient été collés l'un à l'autre, et une salle de bain avec douche. Nous y avons très bien dormi. Nous avions accès à une salle commune comprenant un petit salon ainsi qu'une cuisine complète. Le petit déjeuner était compris dans le coût de la réservation. Il était composé de différents fruits, céréales, pain, café et jus. Il y avait des tables à l'extérieur pour prendre un verre ou un repas. Nous avons mangé un club sandwich et il était vraiment délicieux. Le wifi est gratuit. Cependant, il n'était pas accessible à partir de notre chambre. Il a fallu se rendre dans le passage pour y avoir accès. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une seule nuit. Par contre, pour ceux qui désirent passer plus de temps dans cette région, cet hôtel est vraiment un excellent choix étant donné sa proximité avec le parc national du Connemara.

Sejour familial pour visiter la région. Proche de clifden, de l'abbaye de killemore et surtout à deux pas du parc du connemara. Petit hotel plutôt type motel, chambre petite pour 4 adultes de 23 à 76 ans. Toute petite salle de bain. Connexion internet inexistante durant nos 4 nuits. Accueil super et amicale. Par contre le plus possibilité de disposer du frigo dans la salle commune. Rencontre fort sympathique avec d'autres vacanciers. Je recommande pour tout ses avantages. On oublie finalement les autres inconvénients. Nous reviendrons. J'oubliais une excellente restauration sur place.

Rapport qualité / prix / praticité très bon
Séjour de quatre nuits en famille (deux enfants). Attention l'hôtel a changé de Nom! nous avons donc eu beaucoup de mal à le retrouver il s'agit maintenant du Cloverfox. La chambre n'est pas extraordinaire et les sanitaires nécessitent un vrai rafraichissement. Cependant la chambre permettait d'accueillir jusqu'à six personnes ce qui en rapport prix est vraiment intéressant par rapport aux autres chambres que nous avons eues par ailleurs. Pour le petit déjeuner, il est à disposition dans une cuisine commune et basique toutefois il est possible de stocker des denrées dans le frigo commun et aussi d'utiliser cette cuisine pour se préparer et manger les autres repas. La personne qui gère l'hôtel est vraiment sympathique. Elle donne aussi la possibilité de faire une lessive (Laver sécher). L'hôtel est situé au pied du parc national du Connemara et à 4km de l'abbaye de Kylemore. Les alentours sont très intéressant aussi à visiter. Pour les accrocs : Wifi OK

Bien placé pour une visite du connémara
Accueil chaleureux comme partout en Irlande. On a aussi bien manger dans le restaurant. La chambre, bof bof... la douche juste un petit fillet d'eau et la propreté de la chambre: on a trouver des moutons (pas les animaux hein, même si il y en a beaucoup en Irlande) et une paire de chaussures sales sous le lit . Calme, le nécessaire pour se faire un petit dèj.

A deux pas du parc national du Connemara
Idéalement situé pour explorer le parc national du Connemara (400 m à pied), chambres situées dans un long bâtiment derrière le pub tenu par les propriétaires. Chambres confortables et assez grandes, petit déjeuner inclus, seul bémol l'eau de la douche de la chambre était vraiment très chaude et pas possible de la régler.

Durch den positiven Eindruck der anderen Bewertungen, haben wir (2 Personen) das Hostel gebucht. Wohlwissend, das es sich dabei um ein zwei Sterne Hostel handelt, buchten wir ein Doppelbettzimmer. Vor Ort hatten wir Mühe jemanden aus dem Hotel und überhaupt einen Eingang zu finden, da dieser völlig zugewuchert war. Das Zimmer, das uns dann "präsentiert" wurde, hatte den Charme einer Jugendherberge mit Renovierungsstau und used look Charakter. Das Zimmer war auch nicht für zwei Leute ausgelegt, sondern besaß bettentechnisch Platz für 6-7, da das gesamte Zimmer mit Betten ausgefüllt war. Zudem ließen Sauberkeit und hygienische Zustände zu wünschen übrig. Über die Herkunft der Flecken im Bett wollten wir auch lieber nicht nach denken. Auch im sehr abgewohntem Gemeinschaftsess, und -wohnraum war Sauberkeit zu suchen. Da uns bewusst war, das wir ein zwei Steine Hostel gebucht hatten, hätten wir von dem sehr renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand noch absehen können, allerdings kann man auch in hier einen gewissen Standard an Ausstattung und Sauberkeit erwarten. Wir zahlten für unser Zimmer 50 € für zwei Personen, was deutlich erhöht war. Im allgemeinen müssen wir deswegen leider sagen, dass wir sehr enttäuscht waren und das Hostel auch nicht weiter empfehlen können.

Etablissement sans prétention,chambre rudimentaire et pas trés spacieuse.On se prépare notre petit déjeuner léger mais avantage on dispose d'une cuisine pour les petits déjeuners ou repas. Belle petite terrasse quand il y a du soleil pub resto trés correct lié à l'etablissement. Ambiance sympa mais ressemble plus à une auberge qu'à un hôtel.
