Had a wonderful time with my daughter at Ibis Budget Leuven, staff was wonderful, very helpful and kind. It was clean and there’s plenty to do in walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location is good but still a bad choice. The room was small, really small. I put the chair outside the room to create some space. The ‘bathroom’ was small too, really small, smaller than a festival-dixi. Worst of all, you can’t ventilate the room because the only window doesn’t open. And budget? All together I paid over 100 euro for a Tuesday. And they are begging with flyers to rate them 9 or 10… Well; I do recommend this place to all persons below 150 centimeters who like their own smell a lot.

A great hotel very close to the train station and central to the town. Very helpful staff. I needed a prescription filled and the lady at reception was able to assist me with making a doctors appointment for the same day which I’m told can be difficult for new patients. I know she had to ring around.

Great location once I had found it and a very clean, straightforward stay. I just some of the staff could be a bit more helpful. One person was very attentive and helpful, another could have said ‘scan your key on the black box in the lift to make it work, your key needs to go into the round switch as you enter the room (difficult to find in the dark) and I know it’s supposed to be minimal contact.

Good location. Very close to the station. But in the morning, the lobby was very crowded for breakfast. My room is located at the end of a corridor. So it is a little bit larger than other rooms.

Prepare to Be Disturbed

The front desk staff was nice enough. Housekeeping however disturbed me before 10am both days of my stay. On the first day, I didn't recognize the sound of the knock because the hallway was fairly busy during my stay. So he opened the door and I had to shout for him to not enter the room. The second day, I recognized the knock, again, a couple of hours before check-out. I stuck my head outside the door and he said he thought I was out. I expressed my concern to the front staff suggesting they get do not disturb signs to hang outside the room door. I was told there was supposed to be one in my room. The shower also had dirt residue from previous guests.
