Robes, slippers, makeup remover wipes, towel warmer, essential oils for the sauna. Check out Gerties and Edelwiess for dining! There's movies and games and OH MY GOSH a heated toilet seat!!! You will not regret staying here! We will be back!! ”

“My husband and I love this cabin and want to go back in the Spring. The property is gorgeous and very private. The sounds and views of the Maury River from the porch was very relaxing. We noticed people walking, biking and jogging on a trail on the opposite side of the river and discovered that they were on a portion of the Chessie Trail. We drove to one of the nearby trail access areas and took our two dogs on a 3 mile walk. What a treasure!”

“The host is a bit overbearing, with text and emails. We have stayed at multiple rentals and like to be left alone.Amenities, 1) Washer-dryer unit by the kitchen table DOES NOT have a door, very load.2) Coffee maker which is an easy fix does NOT work, doesn't brew, huge problem for equestrians and guests3) Drain in bathrooms upstairs were disgusting. We bought draino and cleaned.Rest of the house was fine. Would recommend keyless entry.Thanks, Hilary Keller 804-592-7160”

“Dave was absolutely wonderful to communicate with during this stay. The cabin was fantastic, spotless, very cozy and adequately equipped. The fireplace is beautiful and we loved the wraparound decks.The bed linens were very high quality and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. There were snacks, coffee and tea available as well as drinks in the fridge which was an extremely nice touch and much appreciated. “This cabin was beautifully constructed with wood from a historic tobacco barn, which gave it a historic feel despite being fairly recently built. The views off the front porch were GORGEOUS- overlooks a cow pasture and then a small mountain range. It was so relaxing to sit on the rocking chairs on the porch and take in the pastoral scenery. The cabin was thoughtfully appointed and well stocked in the kitchen. Firewood was provided and we definitely made use of the fireplace to sit around……

“Excellent location! Kids really enjoyed playing in the creek and we could easily watch them as we made a fire and relaxed on the porch. Bedroom was large enough to have floor space for kid mats to sleep on. Wi-Fi was weak but fire tv kept us entertained when it rained. Super close to lots of hikes and overlooks. I would book this again! Picture online do not do it justice. Very spacious for our family of four.”
