「The surrounding property is low income but we met several of the elderly neighbors one was actually Santa Claus. I went out early on a Saturday morning to see an elderly man with his bright red trousers with big fuzzy white cuffs feeding his cat. He was getting dressed to play Santa Claus on the Santa train in nearby Versailles, Kentucky. The house is old but extremely clean with comfortable beds and well supplied kitchen. There’s a nearby bakery the outstanding in very easy walking distance....

「Loved the cottage, super clean and fresh, very nicely updated, very classy. My only disappointment was that it was portayed (in my opinion) as if it was the only cottage there. There is one in close proximity behind the unit and it appears that there is one above the unit that we stayed in. I would not have booked if I had realized this. All that having been said, I'm glad that we stayed there. It was a very nice place to spend a few days - you won't find a cleaner VRBO or nicer setting.」

「This is our second time to stay at Orchard Park Cottage. This property delivers in every way. It’s beautiful and secluded but so close to anything you need. This home is well appointed and very comfortable. Can’t say enough about Kitty and Alison. So welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond to messages. Also, who doesn’t love to be surrounded by horses. 」

「We have stayed at many places in the area, as we visit family at least once a year—this was, by far, the best place we have stayed. The host had everything set up, including water in the refrigerator, coffee for Keurig, and a basket of breakfast goodies and snacks—all ready for our arrival. The host was very friendly and easygoing, and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there! 10/10 for sure!」

「6 of us all professionals in our late 50’s and 60’s had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful venue. Very clean and well appointed. All questions were answered in a timely fashion. Outdoorsy setting with a lovely creek flowing right outside. The brown water boys from Michigan truly enjoyed the venue and responsiveness of our hostess / host. Much appreciated!」

We walked several places for shopping and eating. I hadn’t realized there was only one shower but it worked out just fine. Would definitely stay again. 」

「The house was awesome. It was perfect for the two of us the detail everything was pointed so nicely down to the coffee cups. Definitely staying in this place again if I could give it more than five stars, I would clean.」

「Our family loved staying at the historic home in Lexington. The house and gardens are beautiful. John is a wonderful host who thought of everything for the house. Decorating is tops. Gardens are lovey and lush. Great stop for our weekend trip to KY.」

「The house is charming, extremely clean and comfy. The linens and access to helpful kitchen items is a bonus. The ease of booking and gaining access waa seamless. The only little thing was that the sofa bed was in the same room with queen bed. We didnt need to use it but if our other guest had joined the trip it would have been difficult. The king and queen beds are very comfy. 」

「We loved our stay at the property! Even though we had a mechanical malfunction, it was taken care of quickly and on a Sunday morning no less! So I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Kentucky or doing the bourbon trail like us 」
