After enjoying an excellent meal served by very friendly staff we retired to our comfortable, clean room, where we were able to experience a good nights sleep. We were not disturbed by traffic from the adjacent road despite having the window open. Breakfast was wonderful and set us up for our onward journey."

"Really lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff and delicious big breakfast! Room had a little en-suite dressing room and huge slipper bath - only downside was that there wasn’t a shower but the bath was a nice change for the one night we stayed! "

"Excellent 10 out of 10. Our 3 day Xmas period stay with our dog was from arrival absolutely superb. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful; the room was warm, comfortably and clean. The food throughout our stay was excellent with a menu to suit everyone and the Xmas lunch was fantastic. This is definitely a place to revisit."

"My husband and I had 5 glorious nights at the Bothy and wished it could have been longer. Juliet and her husband were really helpful and accommodating, the apartment was lovely and comfortable, and quintessentially English, and we both fell in love with the sheep.
