Good and very affordable
Just a place for the night. I was able to park right in front of my door. Good bed. Good TV. Good bathroom. Good deal.

The condition of our room was terrible. There were holes in the walls, some kind of sludge dripping down them too. In several spots. The mirrors and the fridge had some stuff smeared all over as well. There were brown stuff on the sheets and the towels, random socks under the beds and various drugs (prescription) under the bed.

For making a reservation they were unprepared for us. It was cold and the heat wasn’t on at all and it took all night to warm up the room. It felt like they were not trying to give any service and grow business.

Staff was decent. The mtel was run dwn badly. The l was emty. Drained fr many years. The mtel is falling aart. The Beds in the rm were cmfrtable. We slet well.There was a cck rach issue hwever. It needs fumigated. There is a ga n the rm dr. Yu can see ut. The area is run dwn and I wuldn't rent a rm there again. Its nt safe if yu have a family.

Direct TV was almost worthless. Internet fairly good. A/C unit on the wall was high up and I had to stand in a chair to turn it on I feel that for guests the room should have had it on. Sheets were thin and worn. Refg was not working although plugged in. Had to move coffee and plug it in just to use it. Bathroom was clean. Took forever to get hot water for a shower. Walls needed painting the current paint was old. It was a smoking room, but felt even then it could have been nicer. This Motel has been in Liberial KS for years, we have stayed it many times, however I will not use it again. Nor will I recommend it. This room has not been updated to even look good. Staff needs training on hospitality service. No ironing board in room but I had an iron, no hangers at all. Had the hard ware for hangers, but they were bent. Sad.

The bed was clean and fairly comfortable. No warm blanket on the bed or in the room. Only heat source was high on the wall and VERY loud. The room was cold and dark. Grungy. Bathroom had a new sink, toilet and countertop. Shower did not work.

I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and quiet the room was. My only (minor) complaint was the door was hard to open because the lock was loose.

This place is extremely outdated. Extremely noisy. Next to a train track, questionable neighborhood. No breakfast provided. No WiFi. Towels should be used as cleaning rags. They were very thin. Don’t ask for any help after 10:00. They shut the front desk phone off.

You don't have to spend a lot to get a nice room.
A very nice motel. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was exceptionally nice and very helpful. The only complaint I have is that Hotels.com sold the room for ten dollars more than was advertised at the motel. I will definitely stay there again! A surprising value.

Great place to stay on a budget!
Nice, clean room in an older motel. Room smelled great, like it was just cleaned. Checking in was easy, friendly staff, parking space was right by my door. Exactly what I wanted for a short, overnight trip to Liberal.

Nice property to stay at in Liberal
Pretty nice property. The manager is friendly and the rooms are spacious. The WiFi could have been better but overall, I am quite pleased with my stay at this property and would recommend it. The food at the eatery next door is quite good as well.

AC did not come on, but was addressed quickly. I may have had an Accessible room, but there was no place for hanging clothes. The bathroom was one of the largest I have had recently, and everything else worked. Reasonably close to restaurants. Wifi was slow.

Older hotel, needs work. But the staff is always pleasant. I imagine it’s difficult to balance paying for repairs and putting a kid through college. I’m not the picky type of person, so the older place diesntbither me.

Like grandma’s house
I kind of had to book this hotel on my way to it, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The staff was very friendly and check in was painless. The rooms were extremely old, though. On one hand, it was kind of a quaint oldness, like staying at grandma’s house. On the other hand, the heater was in the main room and didn’t do anything for the bathroom area with it’s cold, tile floors. The tiles were also pretty cold, and some of them were broken and sticking up at odd angles. This made it impossible to close the bathroom door unless you stood just right on a tile. But it wasn’t awful. It was a nice cozy place to stay for one night on the way home. Like I said, it’s on or with spending the night at your grandma’s old fashioned and very old house. Cute, with cozy beds. The beds were big and soft.

The pillows were terrible. Flat even with two ,you couldn't make one good one. The ice machine didn't work, so no ice for pop. If you could wait the refrigerator did work. Nice kitchen area, nice shower size but the head was clogged so not much water stream but wet. Sofa was way to old to be used. You sank to the floor, needs replacement badly. Very clean and some extras like Kleenex, ironing board and iron, nice closet beds were good. Not a bad place just in need of some updates.

This is an older motor hotel, right on the main drag. Not a lot of frills, but the rooms are heated and air conditioned, and there is a coffee maker and refrigerator in each room. WiFi is accessible and speedy. Overall a value for the price!

Dangerous, not accessible
Was told room was wheelchair accessible, booked and paid for room, couldn’t even get in door of bathroom. Walkway above room falling down with board stuck in it trying to keep it up. Very dangerous. Would not recommend to anyone.

Clean room comfortable beds, decent access. Tv remote had weak battery and quit changing stations during us. The door did not work very well in accepting the keycard having to replace and still had issues. The hot water was great in that the stream had lots of pressure and got hot quickly staff was courteous and helful
