The proprietors are extremely accommodating, personable and eager to make your stay the best possible; however, the room was comfortable but is very outdated and needs to be completely refurbished. That being said, there are not many choices for travelers in the Connersville area. So, this motel will serve the purpose if you are not expecting luxury and can be satisfied with the very basics for a short over-night stay.

Get what you pay for. Very friendly owners.
The owners were very warm, welcoming and kind people The place itself was acceptable for the low price. I travel with cleaning supplies and my own clean bedding no matter how new and nice the accommodations I stay are. The decor could have been much nicer. Like even paining would help a lot. The bed was very firm, which I prefer, so that was a plus for me. Because of the kindness from the owners, if I ever needed a place in this area again, I’d probably stay here again. Plus it’s the only motel/hotel in town 👍

Everything you need: microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV, wi-if, comfortable bed and bedding, very clean. Owners are exceptionally welcoming, generous and anxious to please. I would return just to visit with them!

You get what you pay for! Overall the room seemed clean but it's an old motel and is worn. The room is small and not much room to move around with 2 queen beds and a table in there. It is an easy 20-25 minute drive to Oxford, but you get road noise from US 27 and the train tracks are right across the street for the nightly freight train. I paid $85 a night while rooms in Oxford were going for $280. In hindsight, I would probably look in Dayton or northern Cincinnati.

Convenient motel in Liberty
The motel is an older style motel, it's small, but it has some updates. The refrigerator was the best refrigerator I've had in a motel/hotel. It actually had a real freezer. The water pressure/temperature in the shower was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to Oxford, Richmond, Connersville, and Brookville so it's a great place to stay if you're going to be in the area.

owners pleasant, but had burn hole (cigarette) in sheets and wasn't sure of cleanliness, towels had seen better days and could use some bleach. Room smelled of cigarettes. No mirror in room and no outlet for blowdrier in bathroom.

Excellent staff and service. We stayed here during Family Weekend at Miami University - and I would much rather give my business to fair and hardworking individuals than the corporate hotels that were charging triple the rate. The owners were very attentive and made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only negative was our 2nd night - when the people in the room next to us were up talking loudly until 4:30am - but that can happen anywhere you stay. I will stay there again for future Miami events.

5 Star Shabby-Chic. It isn’t the Hampton Inn, but the owners are very friendly and hands-on. The room is small but very clean. The shower and water pressure is superb. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Don’t let the lack of curb appeal throw you off. Very warm welcome upon arrival. As good or better than you would expect at the price. Fine for an overnight or 2. I’ll go back.

The room wasnt painted. Found 4 flying ants. Got bit by something that was in the room....spider or other bug. We should get some kind of discount because the room wasn’t ready for guest!!! We will not be back and will tell family and friends not to rent any rooms!

place was clean and everything was good and functional. had plenty of plug ins and usb ports nice alarm clock and bedside lamp .I was even welcomed with a couple sodas for me and my wife. was offered hot coffee when I checked out in the morning.

Liberty Motel
The Liberty Motel was convenient to visit our daughter at Miami University. The owner was friendly at check-in and showed us to our room to make sure we had everything we needed. I was also impressed by the nice email we received from the hotel right after we booked. The motel is basic, but owner is very nice, there was free wi-fi that worked!, a good tv and DVD player, and minifridge, and the price was great. I would stay again.

The door only had one lock( no chain lock) Bath tub drain did not work ( could not fill tub if you wanted to) The sink water control no control But I guess what do you expect for $50

Owners were very accommodating. Unique sheets and pillow covers made for a restful sleep. Tight squeeze making it around the beds to front door and bathroom. Not much room for luggage and belongings.

The right place!
It was great! The service were friendly & very helpful. I recommend this place! There is places to eat around there also, so you got everything you need. The beds are very comfortable.

It is a very old motel. Bed was comfortable. Very small room and a tiny bathroom. The heat had been turned down low so they gave us a space heater. Not enough outlets.

Thanks for taking time to appreciate us with your sound sleep on our comfort bed. our heating system is excellent and quiet, however, we provide additional facility as practice of good hospitality. our room size is 15' x 12 ' and bath room size 7' x 6.5' accordingly standard approved specification norms with specified norms of out lets. The staff was courteous and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the e rooms were clean and new towels every day and bathroom freshened. the decor was dated & double queen bed room tight but king room roomy. Place was good for the price and used for sleeping & resting between outings.

Good price for the place
Liberty Motel feels like 5 star hotel in the concerned with excellent hospitality and almost felt like home. The Staff was really nice and helpful. Comfortable small room but nice and cozy.. I will certainly be staying here again and highly recommend to others when near by this area.

I actually did not stay there. I made a reservation, and tried to cancel some 8 days before the check in. They would not let me. Granted, I should have read the fine print but this is no way to attract customers.

Enjoyed our three-night stay at Liberty Motel.
While this is an older facility, we found the accommodations to be very satisfactory and fit our needs quite well. Economical, comfortable bed, hot water, good TV service with lots of channels, microwave, refrigerator, clean and the service was good. Coffee each morning. Friendly proprietor and wife. We would stay there again. We were in the area for an antique tractor show. Didn't take in any of the other sights available in the community this time. Did enjoy a meal at the Liberty Bell Restaurant and found it to be tasty.

Amazing service and Great place to stay
Staff was really helpful during and after checking in process. Comfortable place to stay in the area and price was unbelievably cheap compare to other motels around. I would defiantly go back again in the future If I happen to be in the town again. I needed extra towel around mid night When I made the call , Staff deliver it with out any hesitation.

Dirty hotel near the lake.
Room needed some TLC and owners need some serious advice at running a hotel. A/C could use some seal around it to help outside noise. Sheets need to be changed based on weather. Thick sheets shouldn't be on in 80° weather.

Close to Brookville Lake
Quiet and convenient location in town. Rooms are small, but price is worth the stay.

Not a good value for the money
Room was decently clean, but there was no hot water in the shower, so I made do with a quick washing of my hair. Walls were very thin and I could hear the couple next door talking. They left their TV on all night, which I could also hear. Door only had knob locks and the swinging U thing, no deadbolt. Just a regular hardware-store knob and lock, with an actual key on one of those old fobs that says "Drop in any mailbox. Postage guaranteed." I didn't know those were still around! Not a good value for the money.
