“Thanks to the receptionist Samuel for his excellent service and recommendations for local dining restaurants. All the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful with personal warmth. The hotel itself is at great location, clean room, and free minibar provided. We had a wonderful experience staying in Marthof Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time when we come back. ”

“Very pleasant stay here. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and more than adequate for my needs, though perhaps a little less than I'd expect for the price. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options, including crêpes, which was nice. Dinner was also of good quality. I enjoyed a massage in the spa, the masseuse was friendly and welcoming, despite a bit of a language barrier. Ideally located for EuroAirport too.”

“Hotel location is good, very near the train station. the service is good. when I request the additional bed in the room. they changed another bigger room to us. Even we have 3 adults and 1 children. They would not ask us to book one more room.”

“It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions”

“Had to go to the bldg next door to get our keys. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and a great little kitchen. It is in a somewhat industrial area so don’t count on any retail. ”

“The room is very spacious and comfortable with most of the necessary items included ! The bed is comfortable and big enough. I chose Junior suit for family stay which would not make us feel crowded. Though the hotel is no located right near Basel SBB station, it just takes 5mins bus (no.30 at station C next to Basel station) to arrive hotel. The surroundings of the hotel are silent and beautiful. I love this stay ! Moreover, the hotel provided us a card per head for taking the transport in Basel……

“This is a very convenient hotel. The room facilities may not be luxurious, but they are well-equipped and clean. The staff are friendly, and the location right next to the station makes it easy to go anywhere. The breakfast food is fresh and healthy. Highly recommended”
