"Staff at this hotel were some of the nicest people I have met and always available to help but hotel is in a horrible area of town and rooms can be cleaner if they pay attention to it."

"You get what you pay for. This is a budget, one star hotel that is cheap. It is basic, cramped, and in no way attractive. You get somewhere clean to sleep, to wash and keep your stuff safe while you go exploring or on your business in Mumbai. There were some mosquitos in my room but it took very little time to sort that out, I checked and found no bed bugs. The staff did not bother me and we're happy to supply a clean towel when I asked and offered to clean my room. It is conveniently located...

"Its an excellent budget hotel in an area of Mumbai that has a lot of life. I was the only white female I saw for days but had no troubles infact had an excellent time meeting people.
The jewel in their crown is the restaurant downstairs- the food is spectacular. Even if you don’t stay come eat here and walk the neighbourhood - though I only kept to main roads and not the alleyways and slums.
An overall excellent experience I would highly recommend. "

"The property itself was stunning but I had a number of issues that were not remediated satisfactorily. I booked a suite with a bath and on my first night I was given the wrong room being the smallest and most basic on offer. I was assured by 11am the next morning I would be given the correct room. At 12 this was still not the case so I went out for the day. I came back in the evening and they said they still couldn’t give me the right room so they upgraded me to another suite. To confirm, this...

"The staff were above and beyond helpful with meals, dry cleaning, and recommendations. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious each day. The room was large, modern, clean, and facing away from the noise of the streets. The view was lovely and private. I think we had a much better stay than our travel companions who stayed at another hotel 4 minutes away. I would recommend Hotel Amigo to anyone travelling to Mumbai. Also: loveliest security officer who was always up for a chat upon our daily...

"This is 3 star hotel so fell right within our expectations. Nothing flash but quite satisfactory. We were having dental work at Dentzz just a few minutes walk around the corner so brilliant location for that. Staff were friendly and conscientious. Wi-Fi was patchy and needed rebooting regularly in an adjacent room."

"The location was close to lilavati hospital which was very convenient for me and family. The staff and all of reception were polite and accommodating. The food at their restaurant was nice, a bit inconsistent, and the view from the restaurant terrace was excellent. Overall the room was old, had a smell and paint peeling off various parts. The rooms, lobby is in need of an update. "

"The hotel itself was clean but they were doing work during the day so quite loud and on one day they were doing the reception ceiling which stopped us from inviting people back to the hotel "
"A wonderful experience at this hotel, thanks to the amazing people who work here. Special shout-out to the housekeeping team — Mahendra, Ansel, Kishor, Deepak, Hemant, and Award — who cleaned my room every day without fail. They were always respectful, friendly, and had a smile on their faces. The front desk staff were equally fantastic, and the doorman was always full of happy vibes. Great work, everyone — you made my stay truly memorable!"
"Rooms were neat and tidy. They had roof top terrace which was bonus. Their food selection was good and food was tasty. It’s close to Khar station. Staff were professional"
"Let’s start with the good - the staff at the apartments are kind and attentive and really go out of their way to attend to your needs. Big thanks to Vijay and Jayesh.
Now for the things that need improving: 1) there is a ton of construction noise adjacent to the building. No mention of it in the listing - we wouldn’t have booked here had we known. 2) there is zero soundproofing - bring your noise canceling headphones and even with those you may find it hard to sleep. Between the traffic, constant honking, multiple temples and gurudwaras nearby - there is zero chance of sleep. 3) the property could use some upkeep and definitely needs better instructions for visitors - things like towel replacements (stop using them once they’re stained) & how to turn on hot water in the showers is important (no one will find an obscure knob or switch).
Fine for a very last minute trip to India but we’re not likely to return to this particular location given all the above. "
"Awesome hotel in the heart of vibrant Mumbai!
What a fantastic stay – the hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the bustling city, making it super convenient to explore Mumbai’s energy and charm. A big kudos to the entire team for their warm hospitality and excellent service. Special mention to Deepak, who truly goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcomed and cared for. Thank you for a memorable experience – I’ll definitely be back!"
